Mossed 0
They could end this ride after the third hill and it would already have more airtime than anything else in the park. I need more angles of this warlock. How tall was the third hill previously? Is this new hill built up at all, or similar in height?
RollerManic 0
^Magnum would like to have a word with you... It appears to be the exact same height; maybe 5-10 feet lower, if anything.
Cj1990 0
Wait. I thought the park did ask for no photos to be posted in general?
boldikus 134
Pretty sure the only public statement they've made about MS photos has been what Tony posted on the blog that I linked to a few pages back. Clearly the park got in touch with TPR about it after the first few pics surfaced here which resulted in them being deleted and Robb's very specific post basically saying if you post them you get banned. The fact that this is even being discussed is ridiculous. How about instead of anyone posting another thing about the no photos thing, that you go on a little personal quest (if you haven't already) to find the latest batch, which as we established are ridiculously easy to find, and come back and post about how batsh*t insane this thing is gonna be. Who's excited???
Vonni 1
I don't understand why this argument is even happening
Philrad71 0
What really made me sick, when Wildcat was being taken out, some of the CP fanboy types saying stupid stuff like "it's a lame carnival ride anyway..." Uck! So you would rather have massive B&M machines that look great but all feel almost exactly the same? Nah, I want variety. Hoity-toity a-holes. She kept thinking about it... and finalized that Wildcat was her favorite ride at CP. I kinda agreed with her. Wildcat was in my top 10 (#9) up until it closed. I only allow operating coasters in my top 10. So I dropped it down to #20 along with Big Dipper from GL. I was so sad when they removed Wildcat from the park. I liked it better than any other coaster in the park I hope to get back to CP this year, I really want to see if the different restraints on Maverick can bump it up from #18 on my list to a top 10. Reading these posts and I was like.... Daaaaaamn!!!
Steely Dan 0
^Magnum would like to have a word with you... Yep. My thought exactly. Who's excited??? Me! Me! Me! Me! Me! I'm not saying that it's neccessarily gonna be the best roller coaster ever built, but given RMC's ridiculous track record, and Mean Streak's MASSIVE timber structure, and what we've seen from the spy photos so far, it certainly seems to me that there's potential for it to be in that discussion. Steely Dan 0
I just came across a new image (new to me at least) depicting the very small airtime hop at what looks to be the bottom of the 1st drop. This element was said to have been shown to those attending chillout, but this is the first time I've seen a picture of it online. It doesn't look very substantial (perhaps only a handful of feet tall), but taken at the speed the train will be traveling at the bottom of that drop, who knows how crazy it will be. DoinItForTheFame 4
. . . who knows how crazy it will be. Anyone who has ever been on any RMC.
coasterjohnh 0
Does anyone know where the resort entrance to the park will be?
Snovi 0
Does anyone know where the resort entrance to the park will be? Same location, it's just moved inwards towards the park away from the road, around where the Magnum photo booth / exit used to stand and before Magnum's crossover.
Steely Dan 0
Anyone who has ever been on any RMC. Haha, good point. I've only had the good fortune to ride one RMC so far, SFGAm's Goliath, which is a crapolad of fun, but often said to be one of RMC's lesser efforts. I've never ridden over anything like a 4' tall bunny hop at the bottom of a 200' drop. It looks so small and inconsequential in the pic I saw, but yes, this is RMC we're talking about, so it will probably make peoples eyeballs pop out of their skulls or something. knaiwear 0
^if it's anything like twisted colossus's little bump, it'll be the least memorable part of the ride. it's basically just a way to kill some space left over from the old layout. way better than flat track, but nothing to get excited about

I think it's still pretty dang fun. If this is anything like that but with a much bigger drop, it'll be great. But yeah then you'll forget about it quickly with those two ridiculous hills that follow.
JT325 0
I'll still go with my old thought... straight track is underrated. RMC rides are constantly changing directions, which is a hallmark of their rides. That is fun, but mixing it up a little bit is fun to. More straight track! Perfectly flat, just for 100' or so. Outlaw Run and Storm Chaser both have little bumps like that which produce outrageous airtime at high speeds.
SFOGdude25 0
A new picture leaked on Twitter today of the drop out of the reverse-banked turn, and it is just a drop out. No inversion here. The more I see of this ride, the more my jaw drops. I still can't believe an RMC (likely to be their largest ride yet) is coming to CP. All they need now is a GCI and I'll never leave the place LOL. Steely Dan 0
More straight track! Perfectly flat, just for 100' or so. You must have been a big fan of Boblo's Skystreak and its unusual "low flat" element. Check it out below at 1:23 [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] I only went to Boblo once as a kid ages ago. I don't remember the ""low flat" being anything special; pretty anti-climactic, actually.
JT325 0
I'm thinking of the flat sections on Apollo's, Magnum, Millennium, Raven, Demon... but if some wanna run with the sarcasm that's ok too. I can handle it. The flat sections on the Beast would be nice too if there weren't so many of them... and the ride was fast like it used to be Variety is nice, as is a change in pace. But just my 2 cents.
Nrthwnd 74
^^ ...and relocated to Mexico, where it's still running as... Titan Selva Mágica (Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) TPR on Titan in Selva Magica Park, Mexico. That 100' "flat element." Whee!!! TPR 2013 Mexico Tour.
