Gutterflower
Not sure if this has been posted but a quick search suggests no. Another screaming Squirrel has opened up at WOnder Island in Russia. A different design too. http://www.divo-ostrov.ru/rus/attractions/extreme_zone/forsage/forsage.htm Looks quite bizzare lol. Edit Heya as usual im doing more research as i go along http://ex-magazine.ru/news/publ/p1-61-divo.html A couple of small but very elightening pictures there. much different to the previdous version. also it appears they just got a screaming swing to go with it too. Edit 2 http://foto.rambler.ru/photos/m/o/mostopic/Divo/Forsage01/Forsage01.jpg http://foto.rambler.ru/photos/m/o/mostopic/Divo/Forsage02/Forsage02.jpg much better pictures of the SS http://foto.rambler.ru/photos/m/o/mostopic/Divo/Wing01/Wing01.jpg And the swing
CoasterFanatic
I love the use of Disney's font in the header of the page. // paging Wes
ECZenith
Oooo, weird! Must be very disorienting to go from the vertical maneuvers to the mouse turns.
steel
http://ex-magazine.ru/news/publ/divo/Zel.jpg Sweet. That ride looks really strange. Sort of like those scribbles that four-year-olds draw, saying they're roller coasters.
viking86
http://foto.rambler.ru/photos/m/o/mostopic/Divo/Forsage01/Forsage01.jpg Look at all the cars! This is definately NOT Gardaland, where the dispatch times on the SS were horrible...
TexTitan01
wow that looks crazy, it probably picks up alot of speed on those drops though, how would they slow it down? I cant see where theres room for brakes...
okinawaboy11
Wowza, look at all those cars. That has to be a record.
DATman
^^The brakes are on the bottom curve of the drop. They're that line that runs down the middle. My guess would be magnets, but I can be wrong...
Thrillrider15
I say S&S is a company that goes beyond the limits (such a great company ). But I do have to ask how do the trains slow down right before that jagged curve?
Tömmioh
^ Good question. Nice find . Haven't seen many pictures of this ride, also it's good to see that their new Screaming Swing is open. Now that the park has got 5 credits (and there are a few others in St.Petersburg), I should start thinking of getting there sometime, as it's afterall my third nearest park (yes, even PowerPark is further away...). QueerRudie
That's insane. And all those cars- now that's a capacity monster if I've ever seen one. But that layout looks almost painful if you think of the acceleraton around those corners- OUCH-
dr.gumbo
Is that the steepest drop ever I see? In your face euro-fighter! NOTE: dont count the other SS's drops cause there inversions
kennywood!007
That SS coaster looks painful
pierced_b0i
Wow..that looks interesting..Ive been looking for better pictures of this thing for forever now..How do these things feel to ride? Id think it would be insane
waterviper
Good grief!! Did they make the design in RCT3?!!
haux
This is cool. It's sort of a cross between the saxophone turns on the Screaming Squirrel and a wild mouse. Maybe it's the beginning of the craziest wild mouse coasters ever.
exmouse
Looking forward to riding this one on a planned trip to Russia. Also be good to ride a few Pax coasters.
ECZenith
Let us know how those PAX coasters are. I've always wanted to ride one of their 'cobra' coasters!
DarkStitch626
I say S&S is a company that goes beyond the limits (such a great company ). But I do have to ask how do the trains slow down right before that jagged curve? Don't you remember the coaster show with Stan Checkett asking "I don't like limits..do you? of course not, Whats next on the drawing board, all I can say is its awsome!" (He was sitting in one of the S&S test seats with green restraints at the time of interview. (That show was on today also!)
rollermonkey
Glad to see that it's open. The S&S guy I met at Eejanaika had mentioned that the park was unhappy with the ride. Apparently they thought that the ride was bigger or more thrilling, even though they were involved in the design process and had been on the other one. viking86
Im guessing a slow, boring, braked to death ride, just like the regular Screamin Squirrel...
RCfanatic
Finally i get to see some pictures of this thing, thanks! I've always been interested in this park and i'll probarly even go there some day (it even has a fun-looking Schwarzkopf!). The ride looks like fun, and the wild mouse turns (if not painful) look like a good contribution, this ride is probarly more fun then the one in Gardaland.
