Blue looks just as good as i thought it would!

Will there be a few fast moving drive tires at the straight section to speed up the train so that it can give some airtime on the bunny hops? If the train goes through the bunny hops with very low speed, it would be pretty pointless.

Those bunny hops are located towards the end of the pre lift, after the train has built up speed.

The blue track looks a lot better than I thought it would. I also love how close to the ground the track is! Looking good!

It's pretty clear the RMC boys have been hard at work ripping apart Colossus! (Let's be honest, it deserved it!)

Still crossing my fingers for duel station - if operations aren't at 1 train per minute, then the green lift hill train will be waiting for a WHILE for the next train to be dispatched.

I have to say that the track looks pretty nice, though I noticed an unpainted section. If I ever get the chance to visit Magic Mountain, I really want to enjoy Twisted Colossus. Keep it up, RMC!

I really hope for a major "makeover" of the station....actual replacement of wood and concrete and queue rails....not just a paint job! Unless of course they are going to tear it all down for a completely new station! Did Rattler and Texas giant get new stations, or just refurbs?

RMC looks good in Blue.

^^There is actually a mobius coaster design out there that is popular in Europe that uses the double station arrangement. One of them is at Mirabilandia.

 

In order to speed up operations on this, what they should do is have a dual load station Tatsu style, allowing them to load two trains simultaneously, so one is always ready. However, even if they built that, they probably would not use it.

They both got refurbs, and pretty minor ones to be honest.

I am still confused on how you stay on the same lift hill without going through the station. Does anybody know how that works?

^ By using the footings and structure already present. Just look at the TC's layout, then look at satellite image of Colossus. It will make sense.

i hope they open up the station. it's too cramped in there. with a whole other side, i'd assume they will. but you know what they say about assuming...
