  1. I'm not saying the park is guilty of letting her die or anything. They aren't responsible in this situation. But I have a hard time believing that Revolution had nothing to do with it. No no it's all the riders fault for having a condition. That doesn't sit right with me.
  2. When this park is going about its daily business, enthusiasts bash it to hell. When a ride is responsible for someones death, enthusiasts are quick to blame it not on the park, but the rider. This does not make any sense to me.
  3. Bad move on their part keeping the ride open. It literally just killed someone. Close it down and get rid of the otsrs so they stop giving riders a fuc*ing concussion.
  4. Wicked cyclone looks relentless! Twisted Colossuss' racing elements make it more exciting for me though! It's just so cool! What other dueling coaster has the trains spiraling around each other like that? And you could potentially have a race on both parts of the ride, imagine all the fun things you can do with that! Also, say you have a group of 8 friends, you can have 4 on the first train and 4 on the second. You could trash talk eachother through the whole ride!
  5. For me, the beauty of this ride is that it really rounds off the experience you get from going to Magic Mountain in a much more exciting way. You have the biggest loop in the world with Full Throttle. An insane ride with X2. A giant drop with Goliath. A backwards 100mph launch with Superman. A flying coaster above the park with Tatsu. A 400 Foot drop tower with Lex Luthor. Batman for the suspended looper. Ninja, Revolution, Gold rusher, and Apocalypse for people looking for "tamer" rides. Viper, Riddler, and Scream for tons of loops. And finally the wacky airtime machine of Twisted Colossus, with an awesome racing element. So does that make it a turning point for the park? Probably not. But it's really good where it is now with its lineup of coasters. Now all it really needs is a focus on general park improvements like we all hope. But they might not find that completely necessary.
  6. They should strongly enforce no loose articles before even getting in line, and have a way of informing everyone to ensure they are not too large to ride. Make it really loud and clear how important those things are for rider safety and getting the ride to function properly. Problem solved maybe...
  7. Good luck to you guys doing the early TC rides. Riding that thing multiple times seems like quite the challenge!
  8. I'm a little worried about how the GP will receive this ride. "IT ONLY GOES UPSIDE DOWN TWICE!???" or "WOW THATS SO SHORT AND ITS ONLY ONE SIDE" Although after people ride it, it may become the most popular.
  9. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a ride like Goliath. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a more common style hyper coaster. They both scratch my "giant coaster drop" itch. I should probably see a doctor.
  10. Makes me hopeful that SFMM will focus more on keeping their rides in good shape. But they won't. Just wait for the day that they let TC's paint fade and run on one train with a MCBR added to replace the Top Gun Stall. Oh I mean Giga Coaster? Yeaaa awesome
  11. Yea they practically are. Engine update and overhauling basic code, change of art style (big undertaking), emphasis on modernized graphics (bigger undertaking). My only concern would be the fact that the developers, investors, and corporate higher-ups are gonna want a payout for this game ASAP, especially with all this new competition in the Roller Coaster Simulation market.
  12. I can confirm that from my experience in video game development and the way that guy worded everything, they're definitely starting over from scratch I guess that's a good thing. Unity 5 looks to be a decent engine, and I believe Parkitect is also on Unity? Don't expect a whole lot from the end product, and expect an early-to-mid 2016 release. If this game releases before then...
  13. That is like the golden rule of renovating anything in life. Don't use old stuff as a part of the new stuff you're adding, that's pretty ass-backwards. Please don't start a debate on whether or not its new wood...just don't
  14. RMC coasters- Kick ass until proven guilty. Aren't all these RMC rides, the polercoaster, and that cool new batman ride being designed by or in part by Alan Schilke? What a genius.
  15. Seeing the structure of colossus cut in half gives me this weird satisfaction. Knowing the ride had been to reduced to something so abysmal, seeing everything I grew tired of get chopped off feels too good.
  16. Six flags is starting to love backwards rides. It all started with superman...
  17. TC is going to be the best of everything for me, so I'm happy. Hopefully the GP will adore it like they love X2.
  18. I believe the situation isn' really that the GP dislikes airtime, but rather Six Flags loves loops. It has to be extreme!
  19. ^I've had a lot of smooth rides on Scream!, but I do recall a couple of times that were headbangers. I believe it was the front row.
