cooksta77
^Thanks for the great shots. I was skeptical at first but I'm excited about this ride now. And you said you're like a foot away at 5'9", I wonder if I could touch being 6'4". -Cookie
singemfrc
On a side note, Riddler's Revenge was back to 2 trains today! Really? Where did the 2nd train come from, rehab?
Musketeer
^ I was wondering that also. But I don't mind too much, as long as it is there to stay!
3Mutts
The super sick looking dive loop thingy! It looks so spectacular from almost every angle! Taken from the other side of the plaza. Â Just wondering but can we just call it a Flying Snake Dive? It looks a lot like Storm Runners. Â

jray21
Anyone know why Lex Luthor was stuck at the top when I drove by at 7:40 this morning? When I passed by again at 11:30, it was gone.  It wasn't stuck. That's the normal brake position to make sure the ride flips as little as possible.

The technicians may have been doing their morning routine checkups especially if the park is opening that day.  Those new pics have got me real excited! Can't wait to see the loop, station, testing and especially curious tto see what the theming will be about after what Tim said!

Sir Clinksalot
Great pics SFMMGeek. Kind of sad Superman Plaza wasn't open when I was there Saturday. Guess I should have gone yesterday.

robbalvey
Time to scream and shout and get your YOLO on!!!! Here it comes... another awesome YOLOcoaster update!!! Â Before we get to the YOLO pics... first we have to take these fresh new Six Flags Magic Mountain buses to get to the park! The jury is still out, at least for me, as to how well these are working. They have these queues set up, and when they are full it takes a lot longer to load the buses since everyone enters through two doors, instead of 15+ rows. Â The bus loops seems rather odd that even if you park in the first lot, the buses have to drive all the way down past Scream, turn around and come back before they drop you off, I think because of how the doors open. Honestly, if you've parked in that first lot, it's actually more efficient just to walk instead of taking the bus. There was also no signage at the bus drop off/pick up on the park side. Just these temporary queues. Â Not exactly sure how well they are working, but I feel like I saw a lot more people walking up to the park than before. Maybe this is a good thing? That's right... my pass is made of gold and I'm awesome! "COME AT ME BRO!!!!" lol "YOLO!!!!!" (Seriously, how can you not poke a little bit of fun at the park when they use sayings like YOLO in their promo videos and have banners like these!) SURPRISE!!! Bet you didn't know that YOLOcoaster is actually going to merge into Goldrusher to become the worlds fastest and only launched mine train coaster! And over here we have.... dirt! A close-up of the dirt and bones sticking up out of the ground. A quick look at dirt, faded Tatsu, and the location where you will soon be able to buy YOLOwings and YOLOfries! (Seriously, marketing people, use these names, we are giving them to you for free!) Here is where YOLOcoaster will do some kind of funky twisty, divey thing and then TAKE THE TUNNEL!!! And then out of the tunnel, YOLOcoaster will merge with GoldRusher and become YOLOrusher! They really need to fix that little bit on the Superman logo before people's OCD goes insane! What an awesome photo of Goliath! You can see the "backside" of the Log Flume station a bit better here. We were told that the station is pretty much going to stay there empty for a while, and eventually would become retail or something... Looks awesome! YOLO!!!! THROUGH THE TREES!!!! TAKE THE TUNNEL!!!! (Seriously, Apocalypse is jealous of YOLO's tunnel!) Sexy close-up shot. Curvy, curve, curve, curve.... curve! And another angle of said twistyness just to make you all happy. OMG! Another angle!!! WHEEE!!!!! Here's what the area approaching the old Log Jammer station looks like now. This is the view from the entrance of the log flume building. HA! We tricked you!!!! YOLOcoaster isn't going to become YOLOrusher after all! It's actually going to have a HUGE loop and top hat!!!! I know, I know, sorry to disappoint you! This shot is kind of artsy...I think... or maybe it's fartsy? Bones and things... HELLYEAHTOTHEMAX!!!!! In all seriousness, I've never met a Premier Rides coaster I didn't like, so I think this ride will end up being quite full of kick ass. But for those of you who have recently asked us "Why all the YOLO" let me explain something.... When Six Flags Magic Mountain first released their Promo Video, it stared out with YOLO!!!! Watch the video below and you'll see it for yourself: And then at IAAPA, Premier Rides had these awesome YOLO pins and lanyards: And we all know how totally silly "YOLO" is - so in short, when someone gives you something that easy to have a little fun with... TPR is gonna take it all the way! Remember, we didn't write it or come up with it, we're just exploiting it! And it's all in good fun! YOLO!!!! Â Thanks for reading! Now... Â POST YOUR COMMENTS!!!! Guy T. Koepp
^Just when YOLO gets unfunny. It suddenly becomes uncomfortably funny again! It's kinda like, "That's what she said!" Or punching someone in the nut sac. Only in textspeak. Destined to be a clasic!
Hilltopper39
I love the look of the Premier track, this ride is looking great, YOLO! But seriously, I hope this thing is a huge success and Premier starts building rides on a more regular basis.

I dunno, I always thought they were slightly annoyed at the whole "TAKE THE TUNNEL" thing, when, if you remember, it was something THEY created! Koasterking48
I totally forgot about the lanyards! Also, I think some people are misinterpreting the top hat deal. Pretty sure they mean its a first-of-its-kind top hat, not the world's first top hat. However, the marketing for it is easy to get confused by, and just plain hilarious to make fun of it! Sir Clinksalot
One additional thing about the Buses was that there were no "clear the tram road" announcements as they are approaching like you'd get with the trams. I know this was built into the trams and the employee in the back would make that announcement. Hopefully this is something they'll build into the buses or create some kind of automated spiel. cmullin
Awesome update, the construction is really speeding up! Maybe it could be ready in a month or two?
Sir Clinksalot
^ Not a month. Vertical construction will most likely be done in a month but they have to finish that area, do all of the testing, do whatever they are going to do in the Tunnel, etc. Â I'm going to say it will be open sometime in June. TyRush
For the Flying Snake Dive vs Dive Loop discussion, i have my theory for why they dont classify it as a flying snake dive. •To me, Storm Runner is more of a twist into the dive while going straight, where as YOLO is more of a turn while curving into the dive(look at the pictures) Im not here to say it is or isnt a Flying Snake Dive, im just showing why maybe they classify YOLO's as a Dive Loop. Storm Runner's entrance into Snake Dive YOLO's entrance into "Dive Loop"
Meteornotes
Another great update. I'm sure this coaster will be a lot of fun. And there is no such thing as too many YOLO jokes. Â dt
