Post your milestone coasters

Recommended Posts

#1- Beastie (or whatever the hell it's called now)

#100- Don't remember. Probably fairly lame or insignificant

#200- Flying Unicorn

As you can see, I don't put a lot of effort into making my milestone coasters special. I just like hitting the milestone. But that's cool if you like doing that. A lot of my friends do.

Did I do this or not? Eh, here are my milestones according to my Excel Sheet:

#1 - Matterhorn

#100 - Kraken

#250 - Twister (Knoebels)

#500 - Little Dipper (Castle Park)

#750 - Spook Express (Joyland)

#800 - Kiddie at Tripsdrill

Starting at #500 I always tried to have a Kiddie Coaster be a milestone!

I'll hit 900 at some point in 2008. It's getting a lot harder to get credits though! Especially when the majority of our trips are taking people to go get credits we already have!

Also note that this is by my counting standards. If I did my count at Coaster Counter I would be over 1000!

So take trips to places you don't have credits! I'm sure the people will come either way! Then again, my budget and schedule isn't going to allow me to do any of the major trips anytime soon, so I could careless. I've always enjoyed the TR's of your own trips. Like when you guys did your first two Japan trips, or that massive Europe TR in '05. That Europe TR gave me something to look forward to at the end of the day during my summer of indentured slavery at CP! Not much had ever been seen from a lot of those parks, let alone in TPR fashion! Anyway, I've gone off on a tangent.

I'll be hitting my 20th credit next year if I can help it.

But since I haven't I'll just give my first and tenth!

1st-Kiddie at Loudoun castle (can't figure out which one)

10th-Twist'n'Shout also at Loudoun castle (the park I visit the most apart from Metroland despite not living anywhere near it)

100 - Air At Alton Towers - It was nearly Colossus at Thorpe Park, Colossus had a preview day prior to opening weekend, and I didnt think I could go too because I was due to be working, and I was also going to Alton on opening weekend hence I would have left Thorpe till the following weekend to ride Colossus which would have made that Coaster 100, but I managed to go to Thorpe on the preview opening for Colossus at the last minute which made Colossus Coaster 99, and I then went to Alton 2 days later for Air's opening and made that my 100th instead

200 - Dragon Kahn at Port Aventura - Going into Port Aventura on 199 Coasters and trying to decide what I wanted Coaster 200 to be, It was quite obvious what I wanted and that was Dragon Kahn, Brilliant Ride, and it was in the dark too, It was quite special

300 - SheiKra at BGT

400 - Kentucky Rumbler At Beech Bend - I arrived at the park on 396 coasters, which meant I had to ride the 3 other coasters to have Kentucky Rumbler as my 400th, Had a scare when the Wild Mouse kept braking down, and I didnt think I was going to do it, It was torture waiting to ride it, but it was worth it.

Currently I am on 465 coasters, I will hit the Big 500 next year as I hope to be on the next ECC America Trip next year, so I cant wait
