gisco
I think I will wait until I ride it to comment on the layout. It is hard to tell from a few pictures what the ride will really be like.
sammmmmy
Well I mean has anybody ever thought this is the chance to see what a generic layout would be like with a wingrider? Who knows, maybe it'll be great!

Bryce232
Just when I thought they were taking a break, we see pictures with all four inversions. This is insane
Ace Of Spades
That was, what, a week or two, and they're already done with all four inversions?! That's really impressive!
QueerRudie
At the rate that Wild Eagle is going up, as you are reading this, they are opening up the line. (Nice Job, DW. Way to put the new toy up for us to STARE AT FOR SIX MONTHS.)
chickenbowl
This looks amazing. They really didn't have to get rid of many trees. When more plants grow in, this will be amazing.
eddie200330
Holy Crap! In the pic looking at the layout from the top of the lift it looks like the pull out from the loop is gonna be really close to the tree line. This is going to look cool speeding past for the people on the outside seats.
odene497
This looks so cool! Can't wait to go through that zero-g hanging off the side...
SoCalCoasters
Holy fast work Batman! I can't believe that they put this thing up so fast!
dragonskeep
From the top of the loop through the Immelman looks very fun. The views are just awesome.
ernierocker
Here are the new photos of Wild Eagle's construction from Dollywood's Facebook Page! http://www.facebook.com/dollywood Gotta love that view! Construction is flying! I wonder if any coaster enthusiasts will rent this cabin out in the future??? They are definitely aren't going to have to worry about winter delays because at this rate they will be done before Thanksgiving!
imawesome1124
Hands down this coaster has the best setting of any coaster in the world! There, I said it! The view from the lift looking out to the mountains, and just the fact of it being on top of a mountain just makes this coaster the ultimate "skyline enhancer". I REALLY want to ride this coaster. ernierocker
Just noticed this on the Wild Eagle website: http://www.dw-2012.com/updates I am also excited to share some very inside information with everyone. Those in the know tell me the installation of Wild Eagle’s track will be completed sometime next week! Yes, you read it here first! Can you believe it? Holy crap! When did the lift hill first go up like three weeks ago??? Has a ride of this magnitude ever gone up this fast?

coast4airtime
Technically speaking, won't this be the first Wingrider to open in the U.S.? And not X-Flight. This ride's track work is nearly done, and X-Flight doesn't even have supports up yet.
ABW
Sheesh! Slow down! I think saying that this is going up fast is an understatement. Somebody write Wild Eagle a prescription for an extremely fast erection!
ernierocker
^It will be the first Wing Rider to open, no question. But really in the end, they will both be great coasters.

Moose
When the rides are complete and when they open are two completely different things. Since Follyeiid is closed for winter the ride will likely sit closed yet complete for months.
