The worst black out I've ever had was on BTR. I coudn't see a thing from the bottom of the first drop to the bottom between the hert-line-spin and 2nd loop. Then I had an other one from after the 2nd loop to the end of the helix :?

I grey out when I stand up.

A lot of coasters do that to me, especialy Goliath. Batman does it too, right at the first loop, and I come out of it on the slow turn after the second one.

Goliath seems to get a lot of people, but you can tell the regional influence of this board.

Titan would kill some folk with it's extra high speed upwards helix. I called Alicia after me and Tummy got off of it and told her I didn't know if I'd recommend her even riding it. :?

When ridding stand-up coasters, always try to keep your knees bent. From beign in a marching band, in which you must stand for up to a hour playing, standing still, beign hot in thick snow like clothing uniforms, it is hard not to pass out.

But I do grey-out on coasters that have a large amount of G-Force. Another thing that is really weird is that my ribs hurt very bad on many rides that pull out at a bottom of a hill. Like i was ridding Raging Bull and at the bottom of the first drop, my ribs went into PAIN! And for some reason it is only Raging Bull, Magnum XL 200, Hades, Goliath, Titan, Viper SFMM, Nitro, Kumba. I dont know what it is but it can get very bad sometimes.

Goliath at SFMM is the first to come to mind, during that helix at the end. Only rode it once, and I probably won't again because of it.

An interesting bit I learned as a kid is to turn your head to the side on a looping coaster and watch the whole world rotate. Yet from time to time when I do that, it may cause my vision to go a little gray, so I don't do it often.

The worst gray/black out was at the Oregon State Fair on the Loop-o-Plane. The ride attendant cranked the speed so hard that I nearly passed out. I was sick for hours afterward.

It's funny, I grey and black out on a fairly regular basis in my everyday life, and that combined with my excruciating daily headaches has caused me to seek medical advice on several occasions as it is so worrying to me that any little thing can make me faint. However, I've never once had the slightest problem on a coaster or ride of any kind, and it never even occurred to me that that could happen until I read this! Being in a car can make me pass out but serious forces do nothing. Bizarre.

I tend to grey out on double loops. You go through the 1st loop and then right when you start to go into the 2nd loop, I grey out.

I only ride coasters with a double loop once for the credit, then I'm over them.

I've grayed out on Solace/WCB weekend. I took two trips on GhostRider during the Saturday night ERT, and I got such a severe headache that I was graying out on anything that delivered a high G-load. Bullet in the helix, Goliath in the helix, Riddler and Scream at the bottom of the first loop, X during the stretch run, but strangely enough, not Viper.

I've gotten the tunnel vision/grey/spots thing on Laser at Dorney (Scwarzkopf was GOD!), but only when I havent eaten or arent feeling well to begin with.

Remember, if your mind is wound up about the ride, you are going to be pumping adrenaline.. that will send blood to the muscles for the "fight or flight" reflex.. (the nervous foot wiggling on the lift hill, anyone?). So when you suddenly hit ridiculous G-forces if your circulation is already wonky, it can do strange stuff.

If you _JUST_ ate a large meal, a lot of blood is pooled around your stomach rather than where it normally is.

Those with high (or low) blood pressure are more likely to get these issues.

and for some (myself included) I think it's just plain adrenaline and excitement.. I was getting sparklies on the launch for Rock N Rollercoaster and got _really_ scared at that "tight chest" feeling until I realized somewhere back in the lizard brain, that I had instinctively held my breath from the time the car settled back for the launch.. I was blacking _myself_ out through asphyxiation!

Nearly blacked out on my 1st ride of Oblivion (Alton Towers UK), I don't go on it anymore. It's not that good ride, I prefer "Air" or "Nemesis", both are B&M with different track sizes.

I grey out for a split second on the back left seat of Silver Bullet, and I grey out on Goliath. So far those are the only 2 I've experienced that with.

I grey out only on certain rides. Any boomerang I will tend to black out when going backwards into the loop. And everytime I ride Nitro at SFGAdv, the helix is intense for me I get an extreme case of greying out on the verge of black out.

I cant black out or grey out to my knowledge. Ive tried everything from riding multiple times in a row to holding my breath before and through high G helicies to just about everything.

Guess I cant complain...must mean my heart is pretty strong.

I gray out a lot in Intamin overbanked turns for some reason. It happens consistently on Millennium Force from the pullout of the drop up until the first tunnel and occasionally the first turn on Xcelerator. Strangely it has not happened on any other type of element.
