Vekoma Fan Boy
^^there is a carnaval REALLY close to my house that has one of those. But it's not here yet. ^I'm too afriad to go on a zipper for fear of cracking my skull open on the back of the seat and now, falling out mid ride! PCW FREAK
^ STAY AWAYYY spare yourself! You'll seriously die if you go on that ride.(fun to watch it and see the people stumbling as they get off though)And i strongly urge you to go on the zipper there,s airtime 'o' plenty on the flips! and also most models have air locks on the cages you'll be fine! 40th POST!!!!!!! CreditCrazy
I've blacked out on Boomerang @ Knott's before, when it was coming into the station from going backwards, and you slam on the brakes. I've also almost blacked out on Tatsu and Goliath @ SFMM.
Wood Dragon 1988
I black out on SFA's Invertigo. I don't remember too many others, but I'm sure I have.
CreditCrazy
I agree, Invertigo's actually are pretty intense! Especially in the first and last seats. You just kinda...fly through the loops. Hurts your neck a bit too.
Kennyweird
I've never come even remotely close to graying out or blacking out on any ride or coaster. Never. An interesting bit I learned as a kid is to turn your head to the side on a looping coaster and watch the whole world rotate. I do something similar on the Phantom's Revenge's final turn. It's fun. Jds03
I thought I would never come close to blacking out on a coaster, until this one time I was really tired and rode Laser at Dorney. My vision started turning orange on the second loop.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
It's happened to me before only once, and that was on Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland. Only 4.5 G's but too much for me (atleast back then). Everything went dark for like 2 seconds and after that, the sunlight hurt my eyes! Its like when you wake up in the middle of the night and turn on the lights how it hurts your eyes. I was so freaked out when that happened (because I thought it was scary) but at the same time I kinda thought it was cool seeing how G force can affect you! I don't ahve any health condition that could cause that to happen, neither am I on any medications other than my daily vitamins and allergy medicine. Well it could've also be my fear of heights... I guess I'm never going to be an astronaut or an aerobatic pilot...

jpdupuis
i naver had a black out...but i often have "white out". Everything gets white, except for the middle of my eyes... It last for kinda...5-10 seconds. I feel really light and dizzy during those seconds... Weird feeling thought... Jpupuis
the ghost
The only two rides I have nearly blacked out on was Batman: The Ride front seat, or Tatsu's pretzel. Those are so crazy forceful.
Crazy_Behemoth_Lady_Jess
Is it true that laughing or screaming can actually help prevent black outs? I just heard that from a friend, because its supposed to either get the adrenaline rushing or get oxygen to your head or something.
gerd.muller
never thought of that it could happen to me, but last spring, while riding the hulk at ioa, my vision turned foggy and i had a very high ringing in my ears. ok, i rode it while it was a very warm and sunny day i smoked many cigarettes before and after a 6-hour drive from miami to orlando. maybee that was the reason for that. sfmmrules!
Riding Goliath at SFMM during one point my vision whited out for a second or two because it was so fast. I thought that would happen again but nope it didn't after my second ride on it last summer. I do believe staying in shape for the parks helps alot. I was more in shape & ready for SFMM last year. Thats the only time I have whited out.
Rct3man777
I've never blacked out before. Let the G's do their thing instead of trying to resist them, you'll do fine.
mudvayneimn
On my 16th consecutive run on Titan at SFoT I started blacking out at the end of the second helix. The 17th run I blacked out during all of the second helix, and on my 18th run I "blacked" in and out from the beginning of the first helix to the final turn to the brakes. At that point I realized what was happening and decided to ride something else. I've heard that they ban consecutive rides on Titan/Goliath now, but the day I went (year it opened) they did not. Electerik
Never blacked out. (At least, not yet.) But I did stumble a bit coming off of three SFMM-Goliath rides in a row without getting off. (It was during media day.)
silvercrew1
Always on the helix before the mcbr on Nitro. Everytime I ride it I black out. That's pretty much the only coaster that does that for me though.
stuartnz
My brother blacked out on Superman Escape at Movie World, which is weird because I didn't find the ride all that intense overall.
The Disneylander
I've never blacked out riding a coaster, but the closest I've ever come to it would be on Goliath's helix.
