odene497 0
The retracking and friendlier staff were my first thoughts as well. Any addition is nice, but they have some incredible coaster layouts there. Hades would probably be in my top 5 if it didn't hurt so much. There is so much within the current park that could and needs to be fixed up. It really lacks the feeling of a real, complete park, like it could be. It's too much of a crappy roadside attraction. SoCalCoasters 0
They should really be spending their money on re-tracking their coasters or getting friendlier staff.  Two Things For The Coasters:  Topper Track & Timberliners  One thing for grouchy staff:  The boot
SharkTums 134
We were talking about this aspect of the 'resort' in another thread. Especially the staff, and hotel, etc. I really don't think they'll ever change so at least we can just keep visiting when they put something in that's decent and try to ride it before it's gone to hell! cfc 33
My impression was that the water park was Mt. Olymous's main draw, so this makes sense to me.
Erik Johnson 7
My impression was that the water park was Mt. Olymous's main draw, so this makes sense to me. Â The water park is seriously the most scary/dangerous water park I have ever been to. I mean, those wave pool waves even bowled Casey over.

odene497 0
Poseidon's Fury really is wonderful to just stand near and watch as people tumble towards the shore. Those waves are absurd.

The water park is seriously the most scary/dangerous water park I have ever been to. I mean, those wave pool waves even bowled Casey over.  Since you get i the place free if you stay at any hotel in the Dells the place is extremely crowded. If you even go into the wave pool you will get slammed into people every time a wave comes. There is more people than water in their waterpark most of the time.

COASTER FREAK 11 5
THEY ARE TAKING OUT THE PINK SLIDE OF DEATH?! That's so sad, I loved that slide. For anyone who doesn't remember, take a quick look here: 2007 TPR Midwest Tour
deathbydinn 0
I heard that the mat racer was being removed for it, so I asked about it and they said nothing's being removed. I thought it would've gone in the land right next to the pink slide since that has more space then infront of them, so I imagine it'll be a pretty tight fit.
jopelt 0
The one thing that i would like this park to have is some faster way of getting from one side to the other! it takes forever... they should also fix some of their go cart tracks as well

Shavethewhales 0
Well that was unexpected... but aside from the erroneous 'World's first' claims, I'm very excited to see this. The Gravity Group is really stepping up in response to RMC. Competition is once again stirring up all kinds of innovation within the industry. Who knows what GCII will pull out of the hat next... jynx242 0
Hmmm - Timberliners are actually going on one of GG's Huge coasters. Could Voyage be coming soon?????
GrapesLie 0
The first. Really! Is this thing opening before March because Outlaw run sure opens then.
ValleyfairFan 0
I think the basis for the "argument" that Mount Olympus marketing will be making is that theirs is all wood, whereas Outlaw Run (and Iron Rattler) will utilize Steel track and a wood frame.
Shavethewhales 0
^But Outlaw Run is still marketed as a wooden coaster, regardless of how various enthusiasts view it. I wonder if there will be any legal complaints about this with all marketing hubbub being what it is.
JonnyRCT3 0
Multiple things wrong here. Â -Not the first "upside down roll" Outlaw run already has two, so that claim is false. -It will only have the longest underground tunnel, and only barrel roll on a wooden coaster -This coaster is not "all-wood" Â Â -The coaster will steal the "steepest non-inverted turn" record from Millennium Force(which has three, 122* overbanked turns) Edited November 13, 2012 by JonnyRCT3
