  1. I can confirm that Wild Thing is only running 2 trains. The 3rd train is removed from the track for the season.
  2. I wonder what's going on with TMNT Shell Shock, besides the obvious of being torn to pieces. I looked and it is still listed on NU's website, and not being listed as undergoing maintenance. Here's a few pics from Friday, along with a picture of the Shredder, the new ride being erected. EDIT: Funny, 2 minutes after posting these pictures, I get an answer on NU's facebook site. It is undergoing refurbishment, and will be back in action soon. Shredder construction The sign reads "This ride is closed while we make changes for your enjoyment"
  3. Update: Catapult to be removed. Seems a bit fishy. "After further review Mt. Olympus has required Casco Inc., the owner/operator of the Catapult ride, to permanently cease operation of the ride and remove the ride from Mt Olympus Water and Theme Park," representative said in a statement Friday. Mt. Olympus president Nick Laskaris declines further comment to 27 News, including what his organization's review found. http://www.fox28.com/story/29514468/2015/07/09/snapped-cable-on-mount-olympus-amusement-ride-creates-close-call-for-two-riders-in-wisconsin-dells
  4. The ride that replaced Balloon Race is called Bubble Guppies Guppy Bubbler and is now open. Here are a few pics from yesterday.
  5. I was at the park yesterday, snapped a shot of the progress of the new Haunt building rising behind the Mad Mouse. Foundation.
  6. I just wanted to share a few pics from last weekend. I had a good chuckle upon closer inspection of the picture.
  7. It would really be cool if they transformed Giraffica into a ride similar to DiVertical in Italy.
  8. http://www.nowgamer.com/features/2355603/the_truth_about_rollercoaster_tycoon_4_for_pc.html Quoted from above article. Take it for what it's worth. "Chris Sawyer is involved with the PC project, though, which should give fans hope to hold on to." Is this just for legal purposes?
  9. Looks like Gerstlauer is suing Six Flags! http://www.dallasnews.com/business/headlines/20140220-ride-maker-to-sue-six-flags-in-fatality.ece
  10. I am surprised that nobody has mentioned this yet. Pure speculation but, what if they renamed Flight Deck to Patriot, and give it the red, white and blue paint job as it is at Worlds of Fun? It would fit into Great America's atmosphere perfectly and even possibly bring back some of Marriott's charm. Just my own two bits.
  11. I picked option 1. I liked the text size, twitter feed and just the overall feel of the page. Is a widescreen format and option, it just seems there is so much wasted space on both sides.

  13. I am going to take a wild guess here. I am thinking it will have plenty of lights to put on a show. I am really hoping it is a Giant Wheel of some sorts with an awesome light package.
  14. I am just wondering if anybody has pictures of X-Flight taken from the top of Sky Trek Tower?
  15. It looked very cool and I would have jumped at a chance to ride it about 10 years ago. My body don't do well with rides anymore. So I will just continue to photograph and enjoy the atmosphere.
  16. Not sure how to add video, but I will try. I have some photo's from today also that I will try to add tomorrow. Enjoy.
  17. I am thinking if it does go to a park in the USA, I would wonder if Silver Dollar City had a chance at getting the Wing Coaster?
  18. Merry Christmas everyone! This year we had to make multiple sacrifices due to an accident and my daughters epileptic issues. We did not do gifts this year due to budget requirements. We will have a great Christmas dinner. My 4 children have been troopers about this. I told them I would make up for this next Christmas (or sooner). I have really enjoyed reading the posts here and seeing such wonderful gifts. Just remember, it's not about the gifts, hold your family close. You don't need anything else. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Season Greetings and Happy New Year Chris
  19. I would have to say, the longest line that I have ever waited in has to be the Santa Claw game.
  20. Noted from Screamscape 2012 - New Attraction - Rumor - (6/13/11) I’m really not too sure about this particular rumor… so take this with a grain of salt, but one e-mail sent in claims that Iron Wolf may be moved from SFGAm and sent to SFA as the new coaster for 2012, where I believe it would fit into the site rather easily. I’m just not sure if SFGAm is ready to let go of another coaster just yet, unless they’re getting something better to replace it, so for now just keep this one in the back of your mind.
  21. Just an updated picture. Hope everyone enjoys. This looks like something out of RCT.
