  1. I can confirm that Wild Thing is only running 2 trains. The 3rd train is removed from the track for the season.
  2. I wonder what's going on with TMNT Shell Shock, besides the obvious of being torn to pieces. I looked and it is still listed on NU's website, and not being listed as undergoing maintenance. Here's a few pics from Friday, along with a picture of the Shredder, the new ride being erected. EDIT: Funny, 2 minutes after posting these pictures, I get an answer on NU's facebook site. It is undergoing refurbishment, and will be back in action soon. Shredder construction The sign reads "This ride is closed while we make changes for your enjoyment"
  3. Update: Catapult to be removed. Seems a bit fishy. "After further review Mt. Olympus has required Casco Inc., the owner/operator of the Catapult ride, to permanently cease operation of the ride and remove the ride from Mt Olympus Water and Theme Park," representative said in a statement Friday. Mt. Olympus president Nick Laskaris declines further comment to 27 News, including what his organization's review found. http://www.fox28.com/story/29514468/2015/07/09/snapped-cable-on-mount-olympus-amusement-ride-creates-close-call-for-two-riders-in-wisconsin-dells
  4. The ride that replaced Balloon Race is called Bubble Guppies Guppy Bubbler and is now open. Here are a few pics from yesterday.
  5. I was at the park yesterday, snapped a shot of the progress of the new Haunt building rising behind the Mad Mouse. Foundation.
  6. I just wanted to share a few pics from last weekend. I had a good chuckle upon closer inspection of the picture.
  7. It would really be cool if they transformed Giraffica into a ride similar to DiVertical in Italy.
  8. http://www.nowgamer.com/features/2355603/the_truth_about_rollercoaster_tycoon_4_for_pc.html Quoted from above article. Take it for what it's worth. "Chris Sawyer is involved with the PC project, though, which should give fans hope to hold on to." Is this just for legal purposes?
  9. Looks like Gerstlauer is suing Six Flags! http://www.dallasnews.com/business/headlines/20140220-ride-maker-to-sue-six-flags-in-fatality.ece
  10. I am surprised that nobody has mentioned this yet. Pure speculation but, what if they renamed Flight Deck to Patriot, and give it the red, white and blue paint job as it is at Worlds of Fun? It would fit into Great America's atmosphere perfectly and even possibly bring back some of Marriott's charm. Just my own two bits.
  11. I picked option 1. I liked the text size, twitter feed and just the overall feel of the page. Is a widescreen format and option, it just seems there is so much wasted space on both sides.

  13. I am going to take a wild guess here. I am thinking it will have plenty of lights to put on a show. I am really hoping it is a Giant Wheel of some sorts with an awesome light package.
  14. I am just wondering if anybody has pictures of X-Flight taken from the top of Sky Trek Tower?
