Norwegian coasterfan Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) So Mack Rides just posted this on Facebook witch the text "We will take it to the next level" New coaster maybe? https://www.facebook.com/mackrides/photos/a.382580673492.166986.97242928492/10152651566958493/?type=1&theater Edited August 27, 2014 by Norwegian coasterfan
VF15 Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Maybe it's a cool new coaster concept. If it is, I'll be excited to see what it is.
thrillseeker4552 Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I heard that they've been wanting to do an inverted coaster for a while now. That would be really cool, and could easily compete with B&M Inverts given the superior restraints.
julioot Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 Well there have been rumors for a dropride at EuropaPark. I wouldn't be suprised if this would be about a mack dropride.
gerstlaueringvar Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I really hope they will come out with something truly original, as of now the majority of their products have the shade of those of other manufacturers.
oriolat Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I hope that they announce that Mack will manufacture inverted coasters too. It makes sense, after seeing Arthur's track. If it's not about building inverted coasters, maybe they'll announce Mack's first hypercoaster.
KBrylczyk Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I just pooped a little. Mack has been hitting home runs for the past few years and I can't wait to see what madness they unveil on Friday.
CPSFMMCW Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 If Helix's slogan is "the next level" than they must be referring to a level above helix. That means its really good!
Superbatboy Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 The next couple of days are shaping up to be very exciting!
canadianparkfan Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I heard that they've been wanting to do an inverted coaster for a while now. That would be really cool, and could easily compete with B&M Inverts given the superior restraints. Yes. This!... Just seeing how amazing Helix is, I can't even imagine how amazing an invert (one of my fav coaster types) would be from these guys!
rcjp Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 ^I just hope that (if/once they do it) it won't have two across seating as I think that looks awful on inverts! (I guess it's not crucial, though)
tarheel1231 Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I think this will be a flat ride going to Cedar Point.
Mossed Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I think this will be a flat ride going to Cedar Point. What makes you say that?
ernierocker Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 ^Maybe the furry parties he goes to, as per his signature.
Angle O. Descent Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 It's amazing what a little research can bring up... http://www.mack-rides.com/front_content.php?idart=146&idcat=140&lang=2
scbt Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 ^ They opened one of them this year at Europa Park.
marth555 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 The world could use more launched mack coasters
Midgetman82 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 ^The world is in desperate need of more inverted launched coasters. (i.e. Volcano at KD) I hope Mack can revive them. ^^I couldn't help but notice they play an explicit Snoop Dogg song in there.
Rollercoaster Rider Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Please let them build a park in the US I can dream
KBrylczyk Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Please let them build a park in the US I can dream OH MY GOD I WOULD MOVE NEXT DOOR AND NEVER LEAVE
Midgetman82 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Was this what they were talking about? I was especially surprised when one of the dudes had a game controller!
intothewild Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 But the idea is not entirely new. Wasn't the coaster in Space Park Bremen where there were screens integrated in the seats also built by Mack?
