K1ngdaKa88 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 When I rode Tatsu it was my first and my last time because after it my breakfast left my stomach!!! And while the train was waiting to enter the Station in the flying position, it was a horror for me and I was happy to leave the coaster to let my breakfast over the fence in the busch!!!!
StuckInSD Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Enterprises give me migraines. There's something about perfect circles that make centripetal forces unbearable. That's probably why we don't see them on roller coasters.
Rollercoaster Rider Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Green Lantern at SFMM Â Â Non Coaster Ride: Fly O Plane at Lake Winnie Mind Warp at Martin's Fantasy Island
Xcoaster Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Lots of flatrides, especially those with lateral spinning (looping doesn't do much to me). There was this ride at the San Diego County Fair, Storm, that'd do me in. Â As for coasters, Tatsu and some spinning coasters (the worst I've been was after riding Sky Rider, the suspended spinning coaster at Skyline Park). I also started to a feel a little icky after riding Helix a bunch of times.
Canobie Coaster Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I cannot riding swinging ships without feeling extremely I'll. The old Huss frisbee where the seats face towards the center are even worse. Â Same here. Swinging ships of all varieties consistently make me feel queasy. The smaller Huss frisbees also do it as well. Oddly enough, I have no trouble with the Kamikazes, Zamperla Hawks, S&S Screamin' Swings, or other frisbees, so I think my issue is related to the speed of the rocking motion.
JonnyRCT3 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 maXair is the only ride I have every felt queasy afterwards.
Philrad71 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 ^ My partner had two episodes with the giant frisbee rides this year. The first one was on Delirium during ERT at Banshee Bash which did him in on rides for the rest of the day and then on Max Air last month. He has now sworn off those rides or anything else that spins in more than one direction. Luckily, at age 71 he can still do most of the coasters though! Â I personally haven't had too many episodes of rides making me sick, although as I age I can definitely notice a difference when I go on an intense spinning ride.
Mr Stratosphere Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 The only ride that has managed to make me a bit nauseous are Zamperla Disk-O rides, they have a weird sensation and the force on your stomach doesn't help much!
tututiara Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 All spider flat rides seem to get me extremely sick!
megametal Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 It didn't start until about 5 years ago, but now swinging ships do it to me. But it's not until they've reached their biggest pendulum swings and the drive wheels stop. That free swinging and the slow down. Makes me so queasy it takes an hour for me to get back to normal. The only other ride that makes me somewhat queasy is the Roll-O-Plane at Knoebels. I can handle Enterprises, rotors, round ups, tilt-a-whirls, zippers and frisbees with no problem... But swinging ships and roll-o-planes for some reason...
dippindotsguy8 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) Very few rides will do this to me. However, the following have made the best attempts: Â -Chance Wipeout -Gerstlauer Sky Fly (If flipping at full speed throughout the entire cycle) -The backwards portion of your typical bouncy-bouncy carnival ride -Zamperla Balloon race (if sitting backwards) Edited March 2, 2015 by dippindotsguy8
Tornado6 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 For me, I tend to feel most nauseous on spinning rides, especially if the radius is small. It looks like that it's not unusual to be more nauseous after a spinning ride vs. most coasters.
jten11 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Only one flat ride has ever made me nauseous...The Zipper. Never rode another one since.
Bedholm Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Spinning rides right after eating and not feeling 100% Roller Coaster wise none my body just has a way of always feeling good even if I just ate
mike541x Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Not necessarily sick, but Kumba always left me a little dizzy and disoriented at the final brake run.
GwaziBSRider1 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Anything "triple motion" like the Chaos, but also simulators like Corkscrew Hill (now Flying over Europe or whatever) or Star Tours. Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom wasn't pleasant for my stomach either.
patrick_rc_fan Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Not sure why, but Behemoth makes me dizzy.
coasterbill Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I feel sick to my stomach every time I look at Stinger.
DJeXeL Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Flats: Chance Wipeouts  Tivoli Orbiters  Coasters:  Gerstlauer spinning mouses
Sprint390g Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Nemesis at Alton Towers. Â BUT only when I have rode it numerous times in a row.
A.J. Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Transformers and Spiderman make me sick if I have the 3D glasses on.
Vonni Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 All spinning rides except Scramblers, and sometimes BTR. Also, the last time I rode Boomerang at SFStL, the reverse trip really did me in. I'm glad its so short because I would have puked had it been any longer.
