LiftThrill Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 The view from the top of that lift hill is going to be unparalleled.
The Geek Mojo Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 This is definitely the prettiest RMC built yet. Just curious if it's going to be the best yet, though. It definitely looks like it has the potential to be.
Nrthwnd Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I'm not against nature but, I hope they're cleared enough trees, for when the trains start rumbling around, and over, and through the forest. (I'm sure they have, already.)
DILinator Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I don't know why I keep coming into this thread... It only brings me sadness, since I'll likely never get to ride this amazing looking and beautiful coaster creation...
RickardSjoden Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 It's spectacular. Last adjustments on the first drop
rosscoe Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 This looks amazing, cant wait to see the footage Robb films in a couple of weeks
RCT3Bross Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Wait why is there a France flag down there? Rotate it 90 degrees, without the Dutch this never would have been build.
kickflipbacktail Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I'm sure this has already been discussed and I simply missed it, but why is there an American flag flying high over this coaster? Because RMC is an American company or did I miss something? Also isn't the first stall going to be the tallest wooden inversion in the world, or is Goliath's 1st inversion bigger?
coasterbill Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 That lift hill and first drop is truly a thing of beauty.
cfc Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 That lift hill and first drop is truly a thing of beauty. Agreed--looks like a great ride in a beautiful setting.
Henry M Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 That lift hill and first drop is truly a thing of beauty. I think it is all a giant ting of beauty.
johnnyknottsville Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 (edited) Yes this truly has to go up there as one of, if not the most beautiful and amazing looking wooden coasters of all time imo that drop looks like pure bliss, the setting looks like something in a movie this coaster just looks beyond reality like is it real is that just a giant green screen and Cgi lol I have to get over there and ride this thing!!! Edited June 10, 2016 by johnnyknottsville
Mater Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I'm 100% sure this has been said already somewhere in this thread but this is totally a NL2 coaster come to life.
Hilltopper39 Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 This thing is going to be kind of like the wooden version of Expedition GeForce to the enthusiast community, highly rated by everyone who ever rides but but still somewhat elusive since it's at a somewhat isolated park that has no other major coasters. And it might best the best wooden coaster in the world there is that similarity as well.
TBpony414 Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 Wildfire has been the coaster talked about for what seems like ages and finally has come to life! It's super looking and I bet it'll give a heck of a ride. I really like the little turn around after the lift, reminds me of Great Bear at HersheyPark. Looks small but helps build momentum for the first drop. WTG to everyone involved!!
Barge84 Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 I can't figure out how to embed this video, but here's the link. Wow.
Nrthwnd Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 *adds to Lottery Win Bucket List* Fixed. For myself.
RyanTPM Posted June 10, 2016 Posted June 10, 2016 That looks really impressive just from those small snippets, very quick, can't wait for some longer footage and a POV. Oh and also, Kolmarden have confirmed themselves on Instagram via a comment that they will fill in the gaps in the steel structure with wood, like in the animation.
bf9 Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 (edited) *Edit double post, sorry* Edited June 11, 2016 by bf9
bf9 Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Two things here; A) I still think this may become #1 overall, steel or wood. The limited video so far is only solidifying my opinion. B) The ride looks f-ing AWESOME. I am very very jealous of you Scandinavian folk, and I still don't think the GP is prepared for what kind of coaster this is. It's going to blow people's minds. My only RMC experience is Twisted Colossus but holy frack there's no way this ride is less than a unanimous top three at least.
Anac0nda Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 As if I wasn't excited already to ride this! That first drop looks so gorgeous With this and Ikaros opening next year at Gröna Lund, it finally pays off to live in Finland
open_door Posted June 11, 2016 Posted June 11, 2016 Episode 35 was a bit delayed this week, but for a good reason Check back in a couple of hours Cheers / Pelle
