I always take my phone wallet and keys with me everywhere so that I think those are a given. The things I take with me to a theme park that I don't usually have with me:

Small tube of Sunblock

Bug Spray

Hand Sanitizer

Advil

Imodium (ESPECIALLY in China )

Never anything that I cannot fit into cargo shorts.

I need only my wallet, phone, and keys. If I need a camera, I hold it in a pouch that I can wear around my neck to clip to my belt. If I have especially deep/ extra pockets, I may fit a water bottle and sunscreen in them.

I NEVER bring in bags.

I Bring a

Wallet

Phone

Coaster Shirt

I try not to bring a mini backpack or anything, but this depends on the park. If at SFDK, I don't take my backpack because I don't care for fluffy bunnies. If I'm at CGA, It's usually cool to take your backpack on. I remember at Cedar Point in '13, there were dumptrucks of Fluffy Bunnies, and just on that I pulled several dollars out of my day.

When visiting HW&SS(my home park):

Backpack

Phone

Wallet

Keys

Change of clothes (I usually arrive at the park with my swim trunks already on)

Towel

Sunscreen

Sunglasses

Once I arrive at the park, the first thing I do is purchase a locker in the waterpark and put everything in it and return whenever I need money, check my phone, ext. I don't like to carrying anything with me while I'm riding rides.

At other parks:

Keys

Wallet

Phone

Sunglasses

My keys are usually connected to my belt loop, and phone and wallet are usually secured where they won't be able to fall out. I don't like to carry stuff with me, but usually the price of lockers is enough to make me deal with it. I have a student loan I have to pay off, so I try and save money where I can.

When I head into a park, I take the following:

- Phone

- Wallet

- Keys (if driving. Left in car if someone else drove)

- Zip-loc bag w/ Insulin, syringes, and snacks

- Extra zip-loc bags if water rides are an option

- Baseball cap

Everything can fit into my pockets, so no need for a Lock-her...

It varies. If I'm alone and it's cloudy, I try to have nothing on me but my wallet. Car key goes in a hide-a-key under the car.

If I'm with a group, and it's sunny, I need my phone, sunblock, and sunglasses. Then I usually end up with a bag also containing: camera, small towel, hat, aspirin, keys, flashlight, watershoes (if there are wet rides in a dry park), non-drowsy dramamine.

In the car: cooler with food, beer, iced tea. extra clothes esp socks & hoodies, bigger towels, extra glasses straps, pen & paper

- Two sets of keys (in-case I accidentally lock one of them in the car)

- Wallet w/ small bills

- Change of clothes (next time, will include socks)

- Some form of hat/sunglasses

- Cellphone on full charge

- 2-3 bottles of water (if allowed)

- Spray-on sunscreen... that I always forget in the car

- On rare occasion, a camera

I do prepare, but I am not always "prepared"... mentally.

This is a good idea. I came very very close to losing my keys on Boulder Dash last year. I was on the exit ramp when I realized they weren't in my pocket. Got back up to the train before it dispatched and they were still in the footwell.

That would have been a huge pain!

As little as possible. I typically wear cargo shorts with a zipper pocket that I keep my phone, wallet and keys in. I don't like trusting my valuables on a ride platform if there's multiple trains running, and certainly don't like paying for lockers.

I used to carry a digital camera as well, but now my phone takes good enough pictures for what I want.

^I also take as little as possible and were either shorts or trousers with plenty of zippier pockets. However, I usually also have to take a bag pack as some coasters will crush anything I have on my pockets.

I always wear cargo shorts or a jacket with zippered pockets. I don't trust any other pockets. As for things I bring in:

Always

Wallet

Car Keys

Phone

Mini Sunscreen

Sometimes

Bathing Suit (if the water park is really good)

Mini Bug Spray

Hat

My standard equipment is keys, wallet, phone, point & shoot camera. It can all fit in pockets, and into zippered pockets in the case of coasters with inversions and hang time and such.

If the park's name has "Disney" somewhere in it, then I'll usually bring a courier bag with snacks or whatever else who I'm going with might be interested in partaking of throughout the day.

I'd be interested in knowing what kind of rain gear everyone packs for a trip to a park. Do you leave it in the car, or get a locker? I read a post that said one guy was in a park when it started to rain, and he went out to his car and changed into his swimming suit. I think some parks have a rule against wearing a swimming suit in the dry park, but would they let you wear one if it was raining? I'd like to be prepared because it sounds like rides in the rain are too good to be missed! Thanks.

we carry a rain poncho in our back pocket (and keep money, ID, phone, Keys, etc, in a zip lock baggie in our front pockets.

that way if we're ever pick-pocketed, they swipe the poncho rather than a wallet (and it HAS happened to us in the past).
