Coaster-Lab Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 When will the wrapped trains arrive at the park? Do u think it will be in feb.?
jedimaster1227 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) ^^Sorry to say Hydra, the tour is a closed event with very limited access. I'll be going to represent the site so rest assured, your questions will be asked and hopefully answered! Edited February 14, 2011 by jedimaster1227
RoCo Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 What were the unique construction/engineering challenges posed by this terrain-hugging layout, if any? Â (Follow-up question: please let us know that something like this, but even more awesomer, is coming to BGW!1!1!11!!1! I keed, of course... ) Â EDIT: I really wanted to make a joke about "needing a pull through" but couldn't think of one that would be all-ages-appropriate...
WOFfan Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Do you think it will have as much problems as the other Intamin Accelerators?
B&MIntaminGCI Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Do you think it will have as much problems as the other Intamin Accelerators? Â It's not a hydraulic launch system, it's LSM so it's shouldn't be cursed with as much downtime and wont have to worry about cable snaps.
StarTrekGeek Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) Will this ride use the new restraints seen on Intimidator 305? Will the gift shop be in the old Edge of Africa gift shop, and will this ride have an on-ride photo booth? If so, at what point of the ride will the picture be taken? Edited February 15, 2011 by StarTrekGeek
astro Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 In regards with the animals themselves, how will the ride affect their behavior(noise from the ride, screams, etc.) affect their health or mental well being? BTW, REALLY excited to see this thing start testing.
aimster Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 "When it comes to the sky ride in the video it goes under now it seems like it will go over...will it go over or under? And was it always gonna be that way?" The park has already confirmed that it will go OVER the Skyride. They posted about it on their Facebook fan page, but I can't find the post. I was at the park yesterday and you can see how the track is angled it's definitely going to leap over the Skyride. Check out the photo I took yesterday:   Only about 400 more feet of track need to go up and everything will be in place.  "Have there been any plans to retheme Cheetah Chase, as to limit confusion between rides?"  I saw this today:  http://www.bgtnation.net/2011/02/cheetah-chase-becomes-sand-serpent.html  You beat me to it.
digidoc Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Since Busch Gardens cut off part of Rhino Rally (the water portion), substantially shortening the ride, mean that it is on the way out. I mean, even the "navigator" taking the vehicle on a "wrong turn" isn't even an element anymore... Because of this, I would assume that Rhino Rally will close soon, or will soon undergo a major redesign.
chadster Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 What type of or how much power will be required for the three launched sections?
osm Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 How extensive will the on-ride theming be in comparison to the video?
A113 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 What are the estimate max +/- vertical and lateral forces on the ride?
triggernel Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 What do you feel your niche is in terms of Florida theme parks? With other animal parks, and other parks with extreme roller coasters, what audience do you feel you appeal to, and was Cheetah Hunt designed specifically with this in mind? Â Who proposed the Tower/Figure 8/Tree Element, you or Intamin?
CPmillenia94 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 It was posted on their facebook awhile back that it would have lap bars. Has this been confirmed, or is it going to have otsrs?
atem122 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Did BGT choose Intamin to be unique in a region dominated by B&Ms, or was Intamin simply the best choice for what they wanted?
TXman308 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Maybe I've just missed this somewhere in the main thread, but what is the purpose of the long straight section that takes place after the MCBR?
coast4airtime Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 What made Busch think of making a raised Figuer 8 element?
jarmor Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 "When it comes to the sky ride in the video it goes under now it seems like it will go over...will it go over or under? I was at the park yesterday and you can see how the track is angled it's definitely going to leap over the Skyride. sorry but you have to realize everyone doesnt go to those other sites. As far as this site, no park official has confirmed anything so for anyone reading this site only they would not have known that.
Iowa Beaver Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Was there a conscience decision to keep the speed at 60 mp/h, which is believed to (roughly) be a cheetah's top speed? Â Is there any chance Cheetah Hunt will lose its heartline roll?
Skycoastin Steve Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Do the cheetahs have large talons?
dragonskeep Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Will you pretty please put a heartline roll over the Skyride?
DrachenFire2 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 Will you pretty please put a heartline roll over the Skyride? That would be epic
larrygator Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 "When it comes to the sky ride in the video it goes under now it seems like it will go over...will it go over or under? coasterking2981 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 (edited) Will the cheetahs themselves be a part of any breeding programs? Â What made you guys opt for a triple launched accelerator coaster instead of the traditional, single launch accelerator coasters like Xcelerator at Knott's Berry Farm or Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure? Edited February 15, 2011 by coasterking2981
Snowboard246 Posted February 15, 2011 Posted February 15, 2011 What is the purpose/function of the trim brakes that follow each launch section?
