Real
Mantis = B&M = Painful. Some will disagree, but for me, I canNOT ride without a headache + raw ears.
viking86
Well, the stand-ups seems to be an exception, but apart from those I havent heard about any painfull B&M's.

Well, Yngve, this one B&M sitdown will probably become quite painfull when "overused": http://www.bmracing.com/index.php?id=gallery&sid=2&catid=1&carid=
BDG
^^^^What I meant was that everyone complained about how short Patriot is, and yet there is a shorter one and everyone is raving about it. Seems kinda wacky to me, that's all. Patriot: steel Black Mamba: trenches, tunnels, enclosed lift hill, underground stations, plants, rocks, trees, animatronics, statues, bridges, huts, a restaurant Patriot is just a coaster, Black Mamba is so much more. I mean, just look at it !
Guy T. Koepp
This coaster is tight. They are fitting a lot of track into a small space. This is becomming my coaster to beat for 06' How many Inversions is it supposed to have? It looks like there is going to be a heartline spin after the vertical loop. Then into a Immelman, or cobra roll, or better yet one of those batwing inversions like on Montu. I love the fact that it seems that over half of it is underground. I can't wait! coastered
Black Mamba will have 5 inversions. Loop Immelman Zero−G Roll (Heartline Spin) Corkscrew (Wing Over) Corkscrew (Wing Over)
socalMAN123
^ Same amount of inversions as Silver Bullet, but Black Mamba will be way better. Wow, I just realized how themed this is going to be. Probably more than any Disney ride. Wait, I take that back. ---Brent 8)
Machtin
Again new pictures at onride.de roll down to the bottom of the page It's going right down into the canyon! Look how messy the track is. It must have been hard work to place the track without spoiling anything.
Rusty Nail
^ Same amount of inversions as Silver Bullet, but Black Mamba will be way better. Silver Bullet has 6 inversions
Hattuchili
Every day I take a look at Onride.de! It is really nice to see what happened in the last days / weeks to Black Mamba! --Sören
The Riddler
It's really a wonderfull coaster. Last week I saw it during the ''wintertraum'' at Phantasialand. The space to build on is small for a B&M and verry compact as you can see on the pictures.

BDG
Wow this ride is being built fast it makes me wonder though what if somone really tall rode it and their legs hit the walls?!?!?! It's safe for everyone, but it's going to be reallllly close. Every inch around the clearance envelope is being used.
BiCoastal Kid
Yeah, I doubt they would put this much into the theming to risk having to do it all over again.
MF310ryb
I am really going to have to save for this one it looks like its going to be an awesome ride.
Ghost
looking so forwards to ride this one... It looks amazing... everytime I look at the pictures I get the feeling there is not enough room between the coaster and the ground/rocks/building... For sure this one will be fun... Shockwave
Hard to believe the track is nearly done now! It's been built so randomly(compared to other B&Ms which are generally built in order) due to all the different constraints like the building site and the theming around the ride, a lot of which is still to be done. Scaparri
I don't know about the rest of my fellow Americans, but I think I'd much rather see incredibly themed coasters like this and Nemesis built every 5+ years than I would non-themed coasters every two or three. Hattuchili
Each time I see some new pictures, it looks a bit better! I feel a bit sad, that I can not ride it next year, but I´ll get my chance in the near future! --Sören
