Maybe it's the long rumored B&M floorless for Dollywood- rumors were running rampant for a 2010 addition before their Adventure Mountain hiatus...

The rumors said it was supposed to be a large investment- the park's new signature steel coaster to anchor their new area that is coming in the next few years... considering the great number of pieces in the yard, this is going to be a large coaster of the sit-down (probably floorless) design.

Well I would be generic like half the people in this thread and say "Oh I want it to go to Valleyfair!!1! That would be awesoem!!!!! " but I'm going to make an educated guess and say it's going over seas. Most parks don't have track shipped to them until at least the summer, so that pretty much rules out any generic Patriot-Size B&M project in the US.

I have a feeling it's for Cedar Point. Cedar Point is missing a flying coaster AND a flooress coaster. So either one is possible.

But is there even enough room?

Yeah, Definitely. Just look at the area between Disaster Transport and Demon Drop. People have been claiming to see "red spray-paint markers" around that area for years but whenever I’ve checked their non existent. But regardless of that, that area is perfect for a coaster.

One other area allot of people miss is the area between Millennium Force and Raptor, where Wildcat is. All you have to do is smash Wildcat to bits like it’s meant to have been for the past 10 years and put the station in it’s place. Then you can have a flyer/floorless that can weave around the ice-skating theater, the employee dorms, the mini cars and even the docks outside the park.

SFA wouldn't get a B&M,heck they can't even get something as cheap as a THBS clone & SFI cheated them out of SFNE's cancelled 08 coaster by giving it to SFM for 09 instead so that really leaves a CF park as the only possible candidate.

Personally, I think it was a gift for Six Flags America to not receive The Dark Knight coaster... The ride (to me) wasn't worth the investment, especially for Great Adventure (which really could have used the money for something better). I hope the guests of Six Flags Mexico enjoy it, but looking at my experience with its New Jersey counterpart, I shudder to think what damage it could have done to the already ailing Six Flags America. That park needs more than a mouse in a box to raise its sub-par lineup.

Nice try!

Funny how the layout in the image above is exactly the same....even down to the interior castle drawn on the right of the picture, and you can pretty much see it is in the same corner of the park as Dueling Dragons.......

.....I can tell you for one thing, it isn't a European Coaster, they are actually built in Europe by contractors, if anything, it is definately going to be something which more than likely has no theme to it (hence the stand out colour) and will more than likely open this year, they would not build the track for a coaster over the winter 2008/2009 for a 2010 coaster, so by this theory, chances are it is for either a Cedar Fair or Six Flags (both known for their Themeing! ) Park.....

Just my opinion.

They cant make another Dueling Dragons!!!! Thats an original and copying it would be a sin lol. I still got my money on SFA just because its too ironic that they announced huge announcement and now all of a sudden and B&M is sitting outside at the B&M plant in Ohio. It looks huge enough so why not.

Universal might have something to do with the new park in Texas.

-Tatum "Read the whole thread about this park on SF Houston"

From reading both of those articles you provided links to earlier, The only thing I see being related to Universal is that there will be an entertainment complex which is "similar" to Universal Citywalk in LA, there is nothing mentioning dueling rollercoasters or anything similar, the only thing I spotted which related to rollercoasters was the park will be divided into 4 Themed Zones centred around a large Volcano, each zone will feature a rollercoaster.

Did I read this wrong....if I am wrong I will take back my previous statement, but without proof I cannot do that!

Still, it is finally exciting that there is a coaster being constructed that the internet knows nothing about, this is how being a coaster fan used to be!

There are only 3 Deja Vus left operating in the world. One at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Silverwood, and Parque Warner Madrid (former SF park). All the Deja Vus were at one time at a SF park.

Here's a post from SFH regarding the Universal relation:

Another Universal connection, (and this may be a little far fetched, but...)

Don Lessum, the man behind EarthQuest, had a hand in designing attractions at Universal's Island of Adventure Theme Park and Universal's movie Jurassic Park.

There is a possibility (however small) that Universal has some kind of connection to EarthQuest. ...even if it is only that they share some of the designers and creative people.
