  1. Mine is simply the plane that I flew in when coming back from Toronto. It made a stop in Charlotte, NC for a connection, so I just took the pic. And in case anyone's wondering, it's an Embraer (ERJ) 175.
  2. Name: Rebecca Age: 20 What is your roller coaster count? A very sad and low number, around 20 or so. What is your home park? Busch Gardens Africa (Tampa) What is the nearest big city? Tampa, FL What is your occupation? Student About how many times a year do you visit a park (including your home park) 3 or 4 About how many times a year do you travel to a park that is not your home park? Probably just around once When you travel do you go primarily to amusement parks or do you also try and hit other sites? I like to stick to the places that have the thrill rides. What is the farthest you’ve traveled to go to an amusement park? Toronto, Ontario Does roller coaster time get in the way of family time? (Do you choose to miss your children’s or family’s sporting events, holidays, birthdays, etc…) Nope Do you have any other major hobbies? Airplanes, I always look forward to airshows and such. Do you get feelings of sadness in the offseason? Do you even have an offseason? Do you travel during the offseason? I don't really have an offseason. The parks near me are always open, so I could head out there if I wanted to. Just don't have much time. As far as traveling goes, the farthest I usually go is Orlando, which is about three hours from me. Do you consider yourself friends with someone you met who works at an amusement park? (Or reverse it, if you work or worked and an amusement park have you made friends with enthusiasts?) I wish Would it bother you to go to an amusement park by yourself? Not at all Have you gone to an amusement park by yourself? If so have you ever ran into another enthusiast and tagged along with them? No to both Do you find it easy to make friends with other enthusiasts? Pretty much How do you get your coaster news? TPR How many different forum sites do you regularly post on? 2 or 3 If there was a poll that asked a large pool of enthusiasts what their favorite roller coaster is, what do you think would be the top 3 responses be for wood? At times Before you visit a new park do you research the park finding the best way to navigate the park, get the best deals, or what days to go? Yes, if I don't know the park already. Do you feel the roller coaster enthusiast community is a warm and accepting community, or a negative and discouraging community? It always seems welcoming! Do you like to talk about your hobby with people who are not roller coaster enthusiasts? Definitely!
  3. Sometimes, it all really depends. Most of the time though, no. I DO laugh in The Hitcher (2007) though, but not in a bad way. I just think Ryder is awesome. Is there any serious movie that you just have to laugh at?
  4. Already a thread about airtime: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=503&highlight=coaster+gives+airtime
  5. There are a number of coasters that they could've shown instead of water parks and a place to sand board. My top favorite: Behemoth, Millennium Force, SheiKra or Griffon, etc. But really, a wave pool? Meh, at least they showed something local for me. Slingshot.
  6. - A Brock Lesnar "Death Clutch" UFC shirt (Walkout 100) - Arctic camo pants Yea, I'm a tom boy. I can't stand the girly crap.
  7. Love the werewolf themed scare zone they have planned! Not so much into the main theme itself with Ms. Vayne, but it's alright.
  8. Jurassic Park River Adventure - IOA (Never been to the one in Cali) I usually always try to get at least two rides on there if the line isn't too bad.
  9. Could you make me one of The Incredible Hulk, with possibly the track in the text, and one of the trains in the background?
  10. I was nervous about going on the xtreme skyflyer at Canada's Wonderland. That was until I found out they charged you extra for it, and I just walked away. Needed the money for the ride back to the hotel.
  11. I know the feeling. I went to BGA with my friend once, and we were right by the gate where they sort you into a row. Then a thunderstorm came by, and they had to shut the ride down. My friend's mom called, and wanted us to leave the line....
  12. Thanks to the limited amount of time I had at Canada's wonderland, I only got in two coasters and few flat rides: If I had more time, I could've rode: The Bat Fly Dragon Fire Back Lot Stunt Coaster SkyRider Thunder Run Wild Beast Vortex So it was just two rides on Behemoth and one on Flight Deck as far as coasters go. Time Warp I wouldn't have gone on anyway. I vowed to make Manta my first flying coaster.
  13. My latest one. Awesome movie, one of my favorites.
  14. I have too many that I like. Lol. In no real order: Transporter 2 Transporter 3 (Have yet to see the first one, yes, I know) Crank (Haven't seen the second one yet) The Hitcher (2007 Version) My Bloody Valentine 3D Casino Royale Quantum of Solace 30 Days of Night Ladder 49 Titanic In the name of the king Behind Enemy Lines Friday the 13th (Latest one) And there's defiantly more, just can't think of all of them at the moment.
  15. I'm a bit surprised no one has said this, but my favorite so far are the trains on Dueling Dragons. The theming itself is great, and they just add to it all. But I guess it'd be kinda odd to have all that and regular B8M inverted coaster trains. http://www.rcdb.com/ig558.htm?picture=18
  16. Just watched The Hitcher (2007 version) a few hours ago. Now one of my favorite horror movies, even though I don't find it "horrifying". But meh, I never see the horror in horror movies anyway.

  18. First off, thanks to Robb for allowing me to post this up! Alright, so there's this contest going on where you have to make a promo video for a book that's coming out. I immediatly thought of fellow TPR members being able to assist in this! All it takes to win is to have the most views by midnight on Sept. 1st. I'd LOVE it and greatly appreciate it if you guys could help me out. You don't even have to watch it if you don't want to. Lol. Just click the link at work, school, whatever, and help me get the most views! Yes, I'm making an arse out of myself here, but oh well! THANKS A BUNCH IN ADVANCE!
  19. Hehe, he didn't beat the Aston Martin in the video. Oh well, still give the guy major props. Skating a roller coaster and geting rockets strapped to you to race an Aston Martin...
