Nosferatu
Hey everybody! This thread is simple! Rather than having a million little threads about everything that goes on at Djurs Sommerland, this thread is designed to consolidate it all into one user-friendly thread. Feel free to use it to post updates, trip reports, questions, comments, and of course, general discussion. For pictures and videos of the park as well as past updates, see TPR's Park Index Page. Official Park Website Below are some links to past updates from the park, you may be interested in. Billy
lol No Limits... alot of pumping, high lateral g's, not very realistic at all 5/10. Cool layout. I'm glad its not one of those Desert Race layouts... Should be farely intense.
coastermaniac1
That looks awesome, there seems to be alot of airtime in that small layout. Reminds me of Heart Beat, the new mini mega under construction in Japan. I hope more small parks start investing in these. It sure looks great. Nosferatu
It appears that the lay-out is almost identical to the one in Japan. http://www.rcdb.com/m/ig3799.htm?picture=
Jive
Looks like a winner.
Steffen_Dk
This is just one of the best news EVER! I live 30 minutes away from Djurs Sommerland, and I after riding Thors Hammer 50 times, you get tired of it - so this is just GREAT
PKI Jizzman
Wow! What a sick little airtime machine! That really looks like a great layout, and another winner for Intamin!
Top Thrill Dragster
WOW, this ride looks great. I am curious to see if this is the return of Intamin coasters with lap bars only.
BDG
the lay-out is identical to the one in Japan. http://www.rcdb.com/m/ig3799.htm?picture=1 Fixed. Looks like a kick-ass ride. Always nice to see smaller parks investing in rides like these.
Nosferatu
WOW, this ride looks great. I am curious to see if this is the return of Intamin coasters with lap bars only. It says on the site that it will have a lap bar and a seat belt for improved sense of freedom . Sounds like the old school Intamin trains too me! coasterdude5
Awesome, it looks like it's gonna be a great ride.
Adrenaline_Rush
This looks like a cross of Maverick and Hydra, and is it just me, or do those transitions seem ALOT faster then Mavericks. Can you say hospital bed? And other than the fact that it looks like a g-force test for astronauts that will kill you, it looks great!
yankees15
Looks like a pretty good coaster. I'm happy that Intamin is starting to build hypers again. They always looked like one of the best types of coasters ever built. I wasn't impressed with the video, but we will see how the ride turns out. BC
I also believe that this is the twin of the forthcoming Heart Beat at Tobu Zoo in Japan. I have admired the rendition of Heart Beat many times on rcdb.com, and can't quite believe that one similar will be built so close to me. WAYYYYHEYYYYY!!! My prayers have been heard. Intamin rules! raptor6
The ride looks great in the POV. So much airtime! The compact nature, the constant speed, and the quick transitions of the baby Intamin hyper is quite appealing. Hopefully, some small to medium sized parks in the USA will buy one of these clones of Heart Beat / Piraten as the capacity (810 riders per hour) doesn't seem to be very high. Loefet
Was at Tobu Zoo yesterday and they had errected the second half of the ride so far, and it looks really great. I really hopes that they get one of those, it will be nice to have one so close by.
Team Thriller
I haven't heard much of Intamins non-loopers for a while, last one was Kingda Ka, and Top Thrill Dragster. Other than that, they have been working with launching. But this makes everything even.
coasterbilly
this is actually excellant news, I'm so glad Intamin is hopping back on models like this. I seriously want Hershey's new one to be a mini hyper, or a hyper too because they are so much fun, so comfortable, have fantastic airtime and deliver. This one looks pretty fun too, just proves it doesn't need to be huge to be a great ride!
FLIPDUDE
After watching the POV I gotta say... ...And I don't mean this as a joke... ...But seriously, it really does look like an AQUATRAX. There, I said it.
eltorobaby
This coaster looks like ALOT of fun, did you see how it literally flew over a ton of bunny hills? If it's like that in real life that'd be INSANITY!

willski
This looks like a cross of Maverick and Hydra, and is it just me, or do those transitions seem ALOT faster then Mavericks. Can you say hospital bed? And other than the fact that it looks like a g-force test for astronauts that will kill you, it looks great! Well, it was a video of a coaster built in No Limits (quite hastily/poorly built as well). The g's were very high in spots, and the transitions were awful for the most part. You can rest assured the final product will be many times better than that shoddy video.
asr
Great photos RonLaan! I hope the supports will be something a little more vibrant than the track though, otherwise it will be a pretty dull looking coaster.
