Rai Fox Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Leap the Dips. Don't think I'm going to be able to beat that one. Â Surprisingly great little coaster! Too bad the rest of Lakemont feels like it's about to collapse into a pile of rot and rust.
jjfinazzo Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Jack Rabbit, Kennywood. Built sometime in the 20's, wasn't it?
glucky11801 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Giant Coaster (1916) at Crystal Beach. It is my only side friction coaster. Surprisingly thrilling and fun!
KarlaKoaster Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 The 1920 side friction coaster that was at Folkestone about 10 years ago. Other than that, it has to be the coasters at Blackpool including the Big Dipper (1923)
boldikus Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 The Flyer @ Hunts Pier/ Wildwood, (built 1957, removed 1988) Â I was going to update this to Jack Rabbit, Kennywood (1920) BUT then I remembered that over last winter my mother found a picture of a very young me on the Screem Machine which opened in Wildwood in 1919 and closed in 1984. Coaster Hero Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 That would be Rolling Thunder for me, I got my final ride on it's last day
coreyb Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 SFA's Wild One (1917) in 1993 at what was then called "Wild World." But it had only been in that location for 7 years. Oldest in original location is Belmont's Giant Dipper.
Peaceroxi Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 The Giant Dipper at Belmont Park in San Diego, built in 1925!

LiftThrill Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Big gap update: Runaway Mine Train at SFOT, 1966.
dippindotsguy8 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Giant Dipper - Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - 1924 Â Followed closely by San Diego's Giant Dipper - 1925
CedarFlags Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I was going to say Coney Island Cyclone, but I didn't realize until now that it isn't as old as the coasters in Santa Cruz and San Diego. My oldest is also the Santa Cruz Giant Dipper.
mike541x Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Wild One at SFA. The ride is 98 years old and it's still one of the best woodies out there.
vette2006c5r Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Thunderhawk @ Dorney. I believe it was built in 1924, but has had a major remodel. I always enjoyed this one.
