Dragon Khan
Moreover I think this is WAY exagerated, as Khan's lift is 45 meters tall with a drop of 49 meters, and the future ride with its 76 meter lift will never look that big. Also, the perspective is pure guess. Just a fan's drawing, which may or may not look like the real thing... There are plenty of those on the dedicated webpage, some look great, some ugly. But seriously, compared to µKhan, the one drawn here looks taller than i305 ... http://www.pa-community.com/p/port_aventura/atraccion-2012/fotos/# Edited October 26, 2011 by Dragon Khan

Bryce232
Kingda Ka dwarfing El Toro and Nitro does not ruin either of those coasters in my opinion. Nitro may be half as tall as KK, but they are on separate ends of the park. El Toro was also built after Kingda Ka, so it's not like KK did any hard to it. If anything, El Toro dwarfed Rolling Thunder. When I think of dwarfing a ride, it would be a Shambhala-Dragon Khan, Iron Dragon-Mantis, Revolution-Tatsu, Goliath-Colossus situation because they are all right next to each other. The ride that does not gain the benefits is the one whose new experience involves going through the supports of the giant above it.
Dragon Khan
coming back on the ugly representation of the future ride one page earlier: there is no way it will be THAT massive over Khan. First, on this drawing, both lifts nearly look parallel and it's nearly as if the new one was actually closer to us than Khan. We all know it's not the case. Also the lift of the hyper will take benefit of the topography: Khan reigns on a "mountain" but strangely enough, it's full of "valleys" too (oooh i love this ride <3 ) if they make the bottom of the drop the lowest track part, then Khan might not be surpassed by a "real" 78m - 45m so a real 33m. Look on the picture: lift hill looks lika a giga ! Everyone screamed "scandal" when they decided to install Furious Baco that would "mutilate the park's face forever". It's effing well integrated I think. I'm sure they know what they're doing. It's NOT Blackpool (which incidentally I love too)
deathbydinn
Not sure if this has been brought up yet but.. That helix that looked a lot like Goliath at SFOG: Is actually something much different: Link

Gerstlauer1
The helix is the SAME that is used in Goliath of Six Flags Over Georgia: Are you serious dude? It's far from the same, this is more like a 360 hammerhead, it's not anything like the one on Goliath at SFOG. Anyways, i love the look of this element! RollerCoasterSmi
That turn around is pure porn, so different... I think everyone agrees that pretty much all of the B&Ms being produced for 2012 look absolutely insane: - Shambhala -tallest in Europe and that turnaround is crazy - Swarm and X Flight have weird drops - The Parc Asterix Invert seems to absolutely fly around the course - Leviathan is frickin' over 300ft! - Wild Eagle, well it's at Dollywood And all Intamin has is SkyRush! _koppen
And all Intamin has is SkyRush! Intamin is building a 10 inversion coaster for Hopi Hari, and there is rumours that there is a park in Italy also buying one. Then there is the half pipe impulse coaster for Triumph Kingdom, a megalite for Nigloland, Mirabilandia's new coaster is most likley Intamin, and Skyrush in Hershey. I think Intamin is having a pretty good year to. Edited October 27, 2011 by _koppen
Gigalyte
Isn't that just a fan drawing of the element? Imo that element doesn't look very realistic to me and I agree that from the over head layout the park released it looks more like the SFOG Goliath helix. Trevor
If you can understand the technical plane you'll see that the helix is NOT like the SFOG. Is very similar to the one in the draw. It beggins from the floor and suddelny goes up. @Egiptologo: before talking, try to understand the plane.

UnderCoverDrummer1
If that helix is accurate I'd dare say this coaster will end up being better than Laviathan. Edited October 27, 2011 by UnderCoverDrummer1
COASTER FREAK 11
If you can understand the technical plane you'll see that the helix is NOT like the SFOG. Is very similar to the one in the draw. It beggins from the floor and suddelny goes up. @Egiptologo: before talking, try to understand the plane. You are correct. For the people who dont see: Look at the distance between footers for one support. The farther apart they are, the higher in the air they go. So, if you follow the footers, and their distance apart you can see the general idea of the layout of this element. Look at the circles I made. Thats what I mean by the distance between footers. The farther apart they are, the higher they go. The layout of this element is closer to what the drawing is then the SFOG element. Your drawing is wrong ... that's all I understand. Hes actually close to what it will be.
Lamoure
I have to reply now! I just love the addition to port aventura, which is my favorite park in the whole world! IF they theme this coaster with massive "himalaya mountains" till the end of the dragonkahn-lift it would look just awesome and dragonkahn would shine red in front of the mountains I am a little bit afraid dragonkahn play second fiddle to shambala.. B&MIntaminGCI
Also, if it was a helix like Goliath's the heartline would be closer to a perfect circle. The heartline in the drawing is more of a squished oblong shape, which indicates that it has significant height change, which is leading me to believe the drawing is correct. Especially if it's a drawing from PA Community, they've been right about everything all along.
