thrillseeker4552 Posted July 27, 2021 Posted July 27, 2021 Any word on when they are going to make the official announcement? A month ago they were teasing like crazy, revealing something every day or two. Then they kinda dropped off the face of the earth?

Making announcements before the rezoning was complete/approved, never mind other approvals needed to start construction.
LegendLover Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Yeah homegirl came to this thread to see if anybody had any news about this coaster. It would kinda baffle me if they didn't get the approval needed to build this ride. Will this become yet another delayed project? Or do we think it'll open late in the summer of 2022? 1

That's what was posted over on the Park Fans site which seems to have the most active thread about the coaster. Appears the park hasn't done this sort of thing before and jumped the gun. Not a clue on when it might open.
IronWolfman Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 So excited for this ride. It's absurd that such a large coaster is coming to such a small park.

Call me naive, but I kinda figured that this must be a sign that they got approval since they are resuming teasing after a month of nothing. 2

After the initial mess, I wouldn't count on it. Maybe the guy on ParkFans can find something new. He found where they finally got the rezoning approved June 24, 2021, well after they started teasing the ride.
boldikus Posted August 17, 2021 Posted August 17, 2021 In case you missed it, the park posted another update on socials today. 4
jarmor Posted August 26, 2021 Posted August 26, 2021 So, so far the only thing that hasn;t been revealed is the left hand turn under the lift leading to the series of airtime hills?

tuxedomask5432 Posted August 28, 2021 Posted August 28, 2021 Wow, I just can't believe this is opening up in Georgia. The concept art looks crazy, and a season pass would be totally worth it, just to ride this coaster.

FYI: Fun Spot has done $76 season passes (maybe cheaper for renewals) at Thanksgiving the last couple of years. As of last year it works at all 3. 1

Very odd to literally announce this coaster in pieces, with weeks of silence in between. I'm all for building hype but... still strange.
Dan the Coaster Man Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 I am hyped for this project! I have been growing impatient for another update...
CaptainUnknown Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 The RMC is to be announced at IAAPA on November 12. Screengrab courtesy of Fun Spot email newsletter. 1

Nrthwnd Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 ^ Um ..... actually ...... Nov.12th is the Friday. Veterans Day is on Thursday/11th. They got the day wrong, looks like.
CaptainUnknown Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Yeah, especially since IAAPA doesn't start until Monday the 15th. Looks like we just gotta keep an eye out for someone's coverage of the event.
Nrthwnd Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 ^ TPR usually gets to it, and provides tons of great coverage of the event and what's new and going on, etc. 1
bert425 Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 Elissa mentioned on TPR FB group that they will be there covering. . so I'm sure we'll see the full announcement posted here
tndank Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 AireForce One will feature "the largest Zero G stall in America."
