viking86
Definitely: Portaventura + Ferrari land.. Likely: another European park.. I want Energylandia.. suggests? I'm still starting, portaventura is going to be my 3rd park Poland is definitely an interesting place to go for coasters in 2018. Energylandia and Legandia are only 60 km apart, making it perfect for a weekend trip!

larrygator
Possible trips Besides day trips to SFGAdv, SFNE/Storyland*, Sesame Place* and Knoebels Trip 1 (Drive) March 30 - April 7th KD BGW* Carowinds SFoG SeaWorld BGT FunSpot* Trip 2 (Drive) early July Cedar Point Kings Island Kentucky Kingdom Kennywood Knoebels Hersheypark Trip 3 (Fly) early August Fly to San Antonio for (Sea World, SFFT, ZDT*) Fly to Los Angeles (SeaWorld, KBF, Universal, SFMM, Disney, as I think I have one day left on an old hopper) Fly to San Francisco (SFDK, CGA*, SCBB) The parks with asterisks are parks with wooden coasters I have yet to ride. If I ride all 6, I'm down to 3 wooden coasters in the US. A goal I set for myself about 15 years ago.

RAWKIN_coaster38
DefinitelyCedar Point Kings Island Probably Holiday World Kentucky Kingdom Silver Dollar City Kings Dominion Six Flags St. Louis Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Possibly/goals California's Great America, as part of a visit to CA, so it might be fairly likely Six Flags Over Texas & Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Texas trip goals Knoebel's & Hersheypark trip, wanted to go this year but I went a bunch of other places instead! West Coast Bash (I think unlikely for me, but I can still put it as a hope!) Other surprise parks that might be in the vicinity/ on the way to whatever road trips I might plan! Especially Cedar Fair and Six Flags parks. Since this post, I have now made plans (and put in a deposit) for a college "study away" course that travels to Disney World to learn about the design process for the rides. I'll likely drive and visit Carowinds and SFOG on the trip to and from, as I did last year. Because of this trip, some of my previous "goals" parks probably won't happen. I'm not complaining, though. Those parks won't go away, but an opportunity like this may never happen again. The boyfriend wants to visit Miami, FL and Tampa to see friends, so maybe a BGT trip could be in the works. As far as enthusiast events (for those of you who care about that sort of thing), I've already requested time off for CoasterStock and CoasterMania, and I plan to be at CP for opening day. boldikus
Sept/Oct: Kings/BGW, Knoebels, Hershey, Moreys, SFGAdv This month alone would be my definition of a very busy year lol... I know on paper it looks like a lot. I try to get to 1-2 parks a month all year. BUT if you take out the Jersey shore/Great Adv trips its not much. Those trips are a given and usually last minute/not anywhere near set in stone since its a quick easy trip. I also have gotten into a habit of hitting the shore all summer since its nicer and the rides are never too packed. Jan/Feb: - - - - - - March/Apr: Kings/BGW, Sesame Place, Coney May/June: SFNE/Quassy(?) July/Aug: Sept/Oct: Kings/BGW, Knoebels, Hershey Nov/Dec: SFOG, Coney, Hershey and Knoebels are a complete crapshoot. If they happen, great, though every year I say I'm going to Knoebels & Coney and I don't. I really, really do need to get to both. The SFNE trip is just a maybe right now but we'll see what happens. I'd really like to go back since its free to enter, its a good park w/ some great rides, and their new-for-2018 is what I wanted for GreatAdv. The only kinda-solid plans at the moment are the two Kings/BGW trips which I'll be tagging along with Coasterbill/Britt, and the SFOG trip which is to visit my sister again but I'm making sure to squeeze in a day to get over there to ride that awesome looking RMC, Goliath, Mindbender, Acro, etc. I'm excited to go back there now that I've been already and can relax and not feel like I "gotta get it all in". Also I hope to go during HITP so that's an added bonus.
