Definitely: Portaventura + Ferrari land..

Likely: another European park.. I want Energylandia.. suggests? I'm still starting, portaventura is going to be my 3rd park

Poland is definitely an interesting place to go for coasters in 2018. Energylandia and Legandia are only 60 km apart, making it perfect for a weekend trip!

KD

BGW*

Carowinds

SFoG

SeaWorld

BGT

FunSpot*

Trip 2 (Drive) early July

Definitely

Cedar Point

Kings Island

Probably

Holiday World

Kentucky Kingdom

Silver Dollar City

Kings Dominion

Six Flags St. Louis

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom

Possibly/goals

California's Great America, as part of a visit to CA, so it might be fairly likely

Six Flags Over Texas & Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Texas trip goals

Knoebel's & Hersheypark trip, wanted to go this year but I went a bunch of other places instead!

West Coast Bash (I think unlikely for me, but I can still put it as a hope!)

Other surprise parks that might be in the vicinity/ on the way to whatever road trips I might plan! Especially Cedar Fair and Six Flags parks.

Since this post, I have now made plans (and put in a deposit) for a college "study away" course that travels to Disney World to learn about the design process for the rides. I'll likely drive and visit Carowinds and SFOG on the trip to and from, as I did last year. Because of this trip, some of my previous "goals" parks probably won't happen. I'm not complaining, though. Those parks won't go away, but an opportunity like this may never happen again.

The boyfriend wants to visit Miami, FL and Tampa to see friends, so maybe a BGT trip could be in the works.

As far as enthusiast events (for those of you who care about that sort of thing), I've already requested time off for CoasterStock and CoasterMania, and I plan to be at CP for opening day.

Sept/Oct: Kings/BGW, Knoebels, Hershey, Moreys, SFGAdv

This month alone would be my definition of a very busy year lol...

I know on paper it looks like a lot. I try to get to 1-2 parks a month all year. BUT if you take out the Jersey shore/Great Adv trips its not much. Those trips are a given and usually last minute/not anywhere near set in stone since its a quick easy trip. I also have gotten into a habit of hitting the shore all summer since its nicer and the rides are never too packed.

Jan/Feb: - - - - - -

March/Apr: Kings/BGW, Sesame Place, Coney

May/June: SFNE/Quassy(?)

July/Aug:

Sept/Oct: Kings/BGW, Knoebels, Hershey

Nov/Dec: SFOG,

Coney, Hershey and Knoebels are a complete crapshoot. If they happen, great, though every year I say I'm going to Knoebels & Coney and I don't. I really, really do need to get to both.

The SFNE trip is just a maybe right now but we'll see what happens. I'd really like to go back since its free to enter, its a good park w/ some great rides, and their new-for-2018 is what I wanted for GreatAdv.

The only kinda-solid plans at the moment are the two Kings/BGW trips which I'll be tagging along with Coasterbill/Britt, and the SFOG trip which is to visit my sister again but I'm making sure to squeeze in a day to get over there to ride that awesome looking RMC, Goliath, Mindbender, Acro, etc. I'm excited to go back there now that I've been already and can relax and not feel like I "gotta get it all in". Also I hope to go during HITP so that's an added bonus.

With the goal in mind of visiting a park/coaster each month this year, I'm off to a good start.

January - Mall of America/Nick U

February - Knott's Berry Farm

March - ??? I'll be in NYC for a week and might be able to catch Luna Park - the site says they open March 25th, a Sunday

April - CGA/SFDK/Bay Area

May - Carowinds/CP?

June - Canada's Wonderland

July/Aug/Sept/ - East Coast, SDC?, Texas Parks?

Why not, even though it became my annual joke along the way. I always have great plans, but life finds a way to stop my tracks.

Either way:

100% sure nobody can stop it because I already did some or I'm not bound to a period:

-Phantasialand (done)

-Efteling (done)

-Toverland

Park I'm very sure off:

-Skyline park.

Parks I plan to but have a high failure level:

-Alton Towers

-Thorpe park

-Flamingo land

Parks I'm not quite sure off but would be a nice addition to the year:

-Europa park

-Walibi Belgium

Can't cover it any better honestly.

Tentative plans.

Memorial Day: Canada's Wonderland

Major summer trip: Cedar Point / Kings Island

Might as well cross this over with the coaster poll thread. Here's where I expect new credits to place in my list (very high or very low):

Steel Vengeance, Maverick, Millennium Force, Twisted Timbers: Top 10

Leviathan, Vortex (CW), Behemoth, Magnum XL-200, Mystic Timbers: Top 20

Corkscrew, Dragon Fire, Flight Deck, Time Warp, Bat (CW): Bottom 10

Gemini at CP might surprise you.. I liked it a LOT (way more than I was expecting, and we re-rode it multiple times).

It makes my top 20 (at 20, but it's there)

Late March, Early April: Spring Break trip to Dollywood, Busch Gardens Tampa, and probably Seaworld and the Funspots.

Early June: Coastermania! or Holiwood Nights and then probably Kentucky Kingdom or KingsIsland on the same trip.

Mid Summer: Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Carowinds and maybe more east coast parks.

Late Summer: Silver Dollar City and Worlds of Fun.

Otherwise impromptu trips to both Dollywood and Six Flags Great America
