Nice to see Adventure City getting something totally unique to the area. It seems like Gerstlauer's take on the Junior Boomerang. I hope it does well for them and it seems like it will provide a nice step up from Adventure City's kiddie coaster and a nice step down from slightly "bigger" rides at other local parks.

^Agreed. It's good that the park isn't replacing it's old mouse with yet another mouse, if this report proves to be correct. Why not go with a ride that the other local parks lack?

Drove by the park today. There is nothing left of the old coaster and the ground is all tore up so I'd guess all the old footers are gone as well. I didn't see any signage saying that anything is replacing it yet, hopefully we'll hear something soon

At my age, I am soooo happy that something like this is being built.

If it happens.

Looks like we have an official announcement!

Adventure City Announces New "Rewind Racers" Roller Coaster

Orange County¹s Little Theme Park Celebrates 20 Years of Family Fun

Anaheim, Calif. (Feb. 24, 2014) Adventure City is proud to kick off the construction of its newest roller coaster "Rewind Racers," expected to open this summer. At a cost of over 2 million dollars, this coaster will be Adventure City¹s largest single investment to date in its 20 year history.

Gerstlauer Amusement Rides GMBH, a well-known German ride manufacturer has been tasked with building ³Rewind Racers², the first family shuttle coaster in North America. The coaster will move both forward and backwards and will accommodate riders of all ages. With a mere 39² height requirement, the coaster¹s unique design comfortably seats both small children and adult passengers, allowing the whole family to join in on the fun.

Looks like a really great addition for Adventure City. Great choice as it's totally unique for the area and it should entice people in as it's going to spotted by many people as they drive past too.

Awesome! I can't wait to ride this! It will be cool to see how this fits in., Looks like the track could go over some existing things in the back corner like the train tracks, Crank 'n' Roll.

Looks like it will be a lot of fun!

The themeing for the ride is being done by R&R, which is the company that did SFMM's themeing back when SFMM actually tried to theme their rides (B:TR, RRv, S:TE, etc.)

Awesome, these are perfect rides for the entire family!

Looks like they took the concept art straight from Vekomas catalog

Looks like the exact same layout as Gipfel-Stürmer.

Looks like a fun family coaster. It will definitely get me back to the park for the credit.

Nice to see this park add a family coaster that is unique to the area instead of an off the shelf ride that can be found at almost every park in SoCal.

That looks like a fun little coaster. There have been quite a few nice family coasters built lately and this one seems no exception.

Sweet! The theming as depicted looks pretty fun. Great they they could work out such a low height requirement for a bigger ride. I loved the charm of Tree Top Racers, but from what I've read, this new coaster will be a better fit.

This is great and much better than what I was expecting to replace Treetop Racers. Looking foreword to riding this thing and seeing something new in Southern California.

Looks like the exact same layout as Gipfel-Stürmer.

Not the exact same, but definitely similar, if the concept art is true.
