Nosferatu Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Looks amazing. Some really nice leg-choppers. Should make for a great ride
gatorchomp83 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Yeah, the leg choppers on this ride look fantastic. And the train is gorgeous. Wish I could get out there to ride this.
KDcoasterMAN Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I'm going to go out on a limb and be a negative nancy.... Look like alot of vibrations... Hopefully not as bad a Furious Baco.
jarmor Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 well the people who have been on here and posted it here hasn't said anything about vibrations so I dont really think its a factor.
Hhappy Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I'm going to go out on a limb and be a negative nancy.... Look like alot of vibrations... Hopefully not as bad a Furious Baco. Quick reaction to this. I got to ride it a bunch of times today (trying to work on a report at this time) and let me say you one thing. Vibrations?? not a problem. This is one very fun ride with some nice elements and different experiences depending on where you're sitting. Restraints are awesome and the ride to me is a job well done. More to come later on.
DJeXeL Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) ^Great to hear. Little off subject, In general do European parks have strict loose article policies? Edited April 1, 2011 by DJeXeL
tiger01 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I don't get it. At the end it goes into the brake run but how does it get back into the station?
DJeXeL Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Hard to see, but it makes a left at the end of the brake run.
Nosferatu Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 I don't get it. At the end it goes into the brake run but how does it get back into the station? It doesn't. They use a new train every time!
Gerstlauer1 Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Yeah, and the train in the brakerun gets all eaten by the RAPTOR!!! Damn they have some nice effects on that ride

Have you ever tried Furius Baco? Fu** the vibrations i know it's a bit rough but seriously on a intense ride like Furius Baco, you really can't complain. Furius Baco is amazing!

I've been on Furius Baco. The vibrations make it very difficult to enjoy the ride from an outer seat. But if Hanno says it is not a problem on Raptor, I trust his opinion. CorkscrewFoley Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Wow, love the leg choppers...I even found myself curling up my legs like I do on SLC's. This seriously looks like an a$$ load of fun.

Furius Baco's top speed might be 135km/m but towards the end of the ride it is nowhere near that speed and there is still a lot of shaking on the outer seats. Secondly, the main point of my previous post was to contradict someone else saying that Furius Baco is amazing, it is NOT amazing. Edited April 1, 2011 by larrygator

Yeah that's your opnion an luckily we can't have the same thourghts about coasters every time. I think it's an amazing coaster end of story!
BaMiTsPaT Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Really love the theming and foot-choppers throughout the circuit, and wish I had the money to go ride this coaster!
KDCOASTERFAN Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Wow, love the leg choppers...I even found myself curling up my legs like I do on SLC's. This seriously looks like an a$$ load of fun. Is it just me or did they focus way too much of the ride on just lefthand turns? I hate rides like that.
Skramp Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) It seems the best seat is on the far right from that POV. All the turns (except one) are to the left so you probably have some great floater air out there. But, the outer left seat probably has a lot of close-to-the-ground encounters. I will say that the slow barrell roll looks amazing with all the themeing in it. Edited April 2, 2011 by Skramp

First you get the "sense" of the seats vibrating from the video now this...lol.
WFChris Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 ^The first 2 letters of his name should be explanation enough. Looks like a great ride, and I am glad to see more of this '4D' train design!
B&MIntaminGCI Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 If America gets a wing rider from B&M soon, I think it should have some sort of Bird of Prey theme, the seats can essentially be the "wings" and the front design can be the face. Anyways, the ride looks outstanding.
