rcjp
^^Oh nooooooooo!!!!!! Actually I would have liked to give it a go as I've never been on such a bizarre ride.
Nrthwnd
^^^ I had all this stress built up in me about riding this thing back in 2010 (TPR Europe Tour), and then........ BO - RING. Totally shocked at how 'meh' it was. There's no love loss from me, about the sale.
CPSFMMCW
wonder who would buy it. Its so weird. Who would want it?
IrishCasual
What's Sequoia Adventure like? Painful, I guess. I want to ride it before it goes, just to see what it's like.
rcjp
^It looks pretty trimmed, hence this ^^^ I had all this stress built up in me about riding this thingback in 2010 (TPR Europe Tour), and then........ BO - RING. Totally shocked at how 'meh' it was. I think the one in China must be a lot more intense
KBrylczyk
No! Not Sequoia Adventure! Sure, Ken and I almost strangled Robb when he made us ride it a second time in 2012, but it's such a rare and unique ride that it was actually kind of awesome. Nrthwnd
^ "Why is it going so slow?" ^^ That's the difference. The one in China goes without much braking. So it goes much faster, then. Sorry I didn't get to ride this one. And compare notes, lol.

gerstlaueringvar
No! The one at Mysterious Island is my dead last steel coaster. It is just too painful and too pointless. But if I'm a park manager, I will buy that 1977 Arrow Shuttle Loop, Schwarzkopf Double Loop (is that Laser?) and Schwarzkopf Wildcat. This kind of ride needs to disappear!!! I've already heard rumor about Mysterious Island removing it.
rcjp
^Yeah this ride seems pretty pointless, just too much time upside down and not much else, really,
KBrylczyk
^ But going over those hairpin "edges" is one of the freakiest things you can experience!
gerstlaueringvar
^ and the most painful shoulder injury you can possibly get on a coaster. It's like somebody landed on your Arrow OTSR and it smash your shoulder with the force of Hades360.
LeoBruz199
Hey, in case you guys don't know, Gardaland made this statement and I happened to find it online. It says: "il dive coaster 2015 sarà più intenso ma più corto di Raptor, passerà da Space vertigo e Inferis. ( la foto è solo un esempio di layout ...... )" The translation (hey, I'm born and raised in Italy) is: "The 2015 dive coaster will be more intense, but shorter, than Raptor, It'll pass by Space Vertigo and Inferis. (Photo below is only an example of the possible layout.........) Then the picture below is shown. Honestly, if they don't throw in an inversion(s) of some kind and an extra helix, then this ride will be a guaranteed letdown. It can't be that short... C'mon Gardaland, You can do better! This is not the layout of the coaster, because this is just a concept-art/drawing from the time Oblivion in Alton Towers was designed and build (if I'm correct). This drawing was only for the patent of the B&M Divecoaster. I think we can expect something like Krake in Heide-Park.

MayTheGForceBeWithYou
I believe that's the layout for the original concept of a dive coaster. Note that the track isn't sheer vertical, which shows the concept existed prior to the new bogies developed for later generation models like Sheikra. Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken. matteocrepaldi
Today I received an email from a friend with some photos from the construction taken from the Flying Island. He asked me if I could post them here so here they are! There isn't really much to see but I am pretty sure someone will find them interesting! The main work is the cleaning of the area around the old Panoramic Tour station. Here is a close up! Also it looks like the queue line of Space Vertigo is missing some pieces! Nothing much to see! Just some ground preparation! More Space Vertigo which is, by the way, my favourite free fall tower! Soon here there will be something very nice! For now there is just dirt being moved around! I think they also removed some trees! This used to be the Flying Island queue line! I think that it will be really cool if Space Vertigo and Flying Island will be included into the new theme and receive some visual upgrades! And this one closes this amazing update! Anyways, I read from ThemeParksItalia that the ride will be 41m tall. That's a very good thing. I seriously hope they make it last for a while, in terms of ride duration. RCT3Bross
Happy to see the flying island still open, Good place for updates so it seems. Still hoping on Webcam here, but he construction just started. Anyway they're fast, the summer season hasn't even started yet, makes me wonder if the ride is just big for them to start now, or is the manufacture (Want to say B&M here but as far as I know still a rumor) busy? matteocrepaldi
I received another email with photos taken from the Flying Island this past weekend! It looks like, as previously posted, that work has officially started on the station building. Also there is now on site the machine to make footers! Does it have a specific name?! Enjoy the photos! Here is the evil machine which will be used to make footers! The big tent which once hosted a horror walk through is still in place! The station is taking shape! I keep wondering how Space Vertigo will be affected by this new ride! General overview! Looking straight down from the Flying Island! The station is starting to take shape nicely! Lets take a moment to look how beautiful that Raptor first drop looks from the Flying Island! And this is the last one! I think that from now things will start to move quite fast so I hope to be able to post more updates soon!

RyanTPM
Are they going to remove that tent?. And that station looks to be very small, if it is actually the station.
