Lenaapple1974
Where is the like button? Some new fun will be waiting for me for next year's trip. Yippie!
-Edge of Beast-
It's Prowler's Baby Brother! Seriously, that layout is sexy. Looks like it has loads of airtime and twistyness. Can't wait for construction to begin!
Devious
Do my eyes see a double-up-double-down?!? Very nice! A Double up, double down, into an el toro-style turnaround.....
Erik Johnson
Wow, looks really fun.
grinch1313
This is very exciting! This looks like it will be a great coaster. The double up double down looks incredible. I'll definitely be there to ride this when it opens!!
coasterfreak101
So essentially they took the original design and made it better? Count me in!
The Yeti
Amazing...this looks much more twisty than the original layout I saw for this coaster, and I'm loving it! I'll bet Fun Spot has a good little thrill ride on their hands...they know they have to in order to draw crowds out from the other parks. I've been to this Fun Spot, but I don't think I even rode any rides - this will certainly be a good reason for me to go next time I'm in Orlando! I can't think of any other wooden coasters in Orlando right now...maybe I'm forgetting something?
CoasterKings908
An Out & Back GCI with traditional hills... B&M making coasters with force again. Schwarzkopf coasters getting resurrected next season. 2013 is looking like it's going to be a blockbuster year all around. Amen! Seriously, it does seem that a majority of the parks are more focused on their 2013 capital than their current capital. As for White Lightning, it looks like it'll kick some serious @$$! It'd be nice if I somehow make my way down to Orlando next year, but I don't see myself anywhere close within the next 10 years.
pianojohn
The only wooden coaster near Orlando is Gwazi. I am SO excited for this! Cannot wait for 2013!!
Hilltopper39
This looks great, can't wait for this to open along with the rest of Fun Spot. With everything in the Cental Florida theme park scene basically being multi-day destination resort these days it's going to be nice to have a "fun spot" like this stop in at for a few hours whenever I'm in town or passing through. Can't wait.
robbalvey
Holy crap! 1,100 views in just about an hour of posting this news! I guess the announcement of a woodie in Orlando is pretty exciting to a lot of people!
Inukaza
I'm entirely excited for this thing! I'm more excited that this will be open in less than a year! Ohmigosh!
TXman308
I'm happy Orlando is finally getting a roller-coaster with airtime. 18 moments of it.
DerekRx
Definitely looks like a break from the norm for GCI and yet still featuring a lot of the things they do so well. Really looking forward to this, Orlando definitely can use a wood coaster, and this looks like it'll be a winner.
crazydaveh
This looks like a great addition to the coasters here in town... I'm happy to see a woodie come to town as that drive down I4 is just sometimes too long for a woodie!
King_K.
It looks amazing. I was having good wooden coaster withdrawals ever since Dania Beach Hurricane went SBNO.
SLUSHIE
Looks like a nice update to an out-and-back style coaster. I like the crossover and curvy bits, much more interesting then hills, a u-turn and more hills.
alpengeist04
Yep, still excited!!!
Skycoastin Steve
And I live about five minutes from there. Color me excited!
better_by_design
This will undoubtedly get me to visit (and drag friends/family with me) Fun Spot again once it opens... which, in the end, is the whole point, right? Great layout, very aggressive, twisty, and hopefully the hops deliver great airtime... this could be an excellent smaller coaster, which, as we all know, can easily beat the heck out of the bigger rides when done right. Excited to see this ambition from Fun Spot to differentiate themselves in the Orlando market! Good luck and many successes to them!
alpengeist04
^Every weekend, right?
MidtownCoaster
I agree with the posts. I think this looks like a very good use of height and space. Great addition to Fun Spot as it tries to steer in a different direction! I'm also interested to see how this hybrid structure does in Florida (in a good way). hippidude
this looks awesome i love the double up double down part. it looks amazing. i wish i lived in flordia
ThunderPup44
The twisting first drop looks like the coasters I used to build on RCT3. And the turnaround looks awesome. A lot packed into a short ride and since the demise of the Dania Beach Hurricane, it's good to see another power-packed woodie coming to Florida. Can't wait to ride! UrbanLegend
The entire layout looks like the sideswipe alley section of Lightning Racer, which is my favorite part of that whole ride. I'd love to get down there and ride it sometime!
