JayTricky
People on other sites are getting so overworked by what this so called secret element is going to be. Isn't a record breaking 14 inversion coaster enough!? This ride looks insane enough as it is. If a secret element is to be added it should, in my opinion, be considered a bonus and not a guarantee. I was thinking the same thing. I thought ever since we ruled out the 'washing machine' that the 'worlds first' is just that it's a REAL 14 inversions as opposed to something like Eejanaika. I agree. Saying 'worlds first' for a ride that has 14 inversions is technically accurate. As it's the first ride in the world to have 14 inversions right. Where it gets confusing is how AT have used 'world beating' and 'worlds first' in the same marketing campaign. Now, I know how Merlin/AT can be with their marketing, but this is where it has lead a lot of the fanatics astray. Personally I just believe they're using both terms in regards to the inversion count. And I hope there is no gimmicky secret element. It doesn't need one! RCT3Bross
Found a new picture of the second drop going in. Towerstimes forum. This makes all the 14 inversions complete, and only leaves the first lift hill. Update: Another lift piece was placed today. Looks like 4 pieces to go. Theme park worldwide Can see it completed soon. Can't wait to see the last piece going in.
Rollercoasters4Life
Updated map (Correct as of 18:45PM on 22nd April 2013): As you can see, the only red section left is just the last half of the first lift hill.
thedazza
Don't know if its been mentioned before but has anyone noticed what appears to be brake fins on the second lift hill. Maybe a grizzy disney kind of lift drop, worlds first vertical reverse drop on a continuous circuit coaster. Both lifts have those fins, they are just a noise free anti-rollback device. Alton Towers have had problems with the neighbours regarding noise in that area so these should help keep the noise down a bit.

RCT3Bross
^ That's some way of marketing they did there. Getting to the end of construction now: 2 pieces already lifted today. 1 to go now. Towerstimes forum. Final piece: Towerstimes member. Hope to hear or see it go in today, can't wait for it.

vacoaster09
WoW! You know, I've been thinking this for awhile... but the sheer amount of sheel that they have compacted in this space is just brilliant. I would love for a park like Universal Hollywood to consider a ride like this for their park.
rctneil
That last photo really shows how crazy this ride is. It takes up a relatively small area of space and just crams it full of track. Going to be pretty intense and boy will I be there for opening. I also cannot wait, (once i've ridden it) to station myself at different points around the ride and shoot a ton of photos. Going to be excellent for grabbing facial expression photos!
Brassinthegrass
Geez, it looks like theres not even enough room for a train to go through that... Almost looks like an indoor ride, placed outside...
Guy T. Koepp
^ I was just thinking the same thing. I think this ride would be crazy if it were inclosed. And by crazy, I mean AWESOME!
snoflake15
Maybe one day they could enclose it all.
TyRush
Another possible first element. While in mid ride a secret box explodes in the air which deploys an inclosed structure around the ride
necoastergp
That last pic has so much twisted steel, just wow. The amount of coaster in that space is crazy.
RCT3Bross
During this interview, creator of the ride, John Wardley states that they managed to get more track per square meter then any other ride in the world so far. Just a reminder of why it looks like a big twisted mass of steel. Can't wait till tomorrow when the last piece of this monstrous 3D jigsaw goes in place. gisco
This ride looks like a twisted mess of track. I'll bet it is going to be a really fun ride if not to rough.

RCT3Bross
It took some time but it's finally complete. Well I guess now nothing more then installing the chain in the first hill and finish the wire work so they can finally go over to testing this beautiful ride. I'm already looking forward to it. TyRush
^Are you sure its done? I feel there is more twisting install
Guy T. Koepp
I'm sure they can fit a few hundred more feet of track in there somewhere.
RCT3Bross
^^ Yes I'm sure. This 1170 meter (3838 feet) long track is complete. I mean enough is enough. On Towerstimes Facebook they released a sneak peak of the last aerial update. This sneak peak shows the Marmaliser: I must say I think it looks really impressive already. I wonder how they don't make it look like a concrete bin with a coaster but on a great themed area.
UrbanLegend
On this photo on Facebook, someone commented: "Nice to see they're being eco friendly too " Now I might be wrong, and I hope I am, then I think they think the Marmaliser is a machine used to gather up trash or something. If that's really the case, then just... wow...
OCJ48
^I think they're actually referring to the solar panels on top.
