verticalzero
What a great drop, I wonder how much airtime this produces. I'll have to book my fright over to Holiday World. "Woodies" who live near the park must be in heaven after hearing this is built on their doorstep.. I'll be there every weekend if I lived near. disneygurlz2s
Even though the update is rather old, thanks for posting it on here. There should be a few more pics sometime soon. Paula just posted that a few days ago!! She rocks... we've emailed back and forth and I just think she is the nicest person. She sure loves her park, and gets a real kick out of the coaster enthusiasts, I think. Between this, the Turkey ride and the fact Sammi should be tall enough to ride everything there next summer, we are definitely going down there a couple of times. Can't wait. "Woodies" who live near the park must be in heaven after hearing this is built on their doorstep.. I'll be there every weekend if I lived near. Well, a short trip over to Holiday Worlds website would tell you exactly how much airtime the ride will have. Approx. 24.2 seconds of airtime total over the entire ride. There is even a handy dandy layout of the ride showing the airtime. http://www.holidayworld.com/airtime_chart.html
NADisney
You can see more pics at www.negative-g.com , I live just an hour away from Holiday World , I can't wait to go sailing down that drop or "shooting turkeys" (not people ) Leagalie, LOL. Zoltan_Kodaly
http://www.holidayworld.com/holiblog/2005/09/some-dark-details.html Well, there it is, everyone was pretty close with the "capture the escaped turkeys!" guessing game. Except no guns are used, you have to go check out what you'll be capturing these things with... it's outrageously awesome!

DonkeyBreath
The blog has been updated again with better shots of the drop, the 90* banked turn, the start of the station and work on the last tunnel before the station. CreativeForce
I was planning a trip back to Holiday World next summer and then Robb and Elissa had to go and create a UK trip. Oh well, maybe if I'm really lucky my job will send me to a show in Indianopolis next year! Although, if I take two more Southwest trips, I do have a free ticket coming my way. Hmmm...maybe I shouldn't write off Holiday World next year just yet.

disneygurlz2s
I remember reading something....probably in one of Paula's hillarious blogs.... about how they (Holiday World, The Kochs) don't get it how parks can have new attractions planned the year before and then NOT have them opened in time for the beginning of the season. I'll take an "AMEN" on that one...and that's just one more reason why these folks, and this park, are just such a rare find out there in these times. I am sure, barring an unforseen complication, that the Koch's will live up to their pledge and Opening Day next spring will be a day to be "Thankful" for!!!
