Thanks for the pictures/update. I really do like the look of the first turn. Heck, even the supports look cool. I think once this is completed it'll look a whole heck of a lot better than the videos.

Cheetah Hunt Roller Coaster Construction Update - December 5th, 2010 - Busch Gardens Tampa

 

I took a quick trip over to BGT this morning to check out the construction and get some shots. It's progressing quite nicely. Definitely looking good!

This whole area is just going to look astonishing. This ride might not be the greatest the world's ever seen, but hot daaarn it's going to be beautiful! I love the support work, and how a lot of them are extended as part of the theme. And that dive into the first trench looks quite fun!

So what were looking at so far is the launch out of the station into that turn that will dive down into that trench for the second launch

into that figure 8 section?

For the record, paiging_jen did tell me that there are now No Trespassing signs all over the perimeter fence to the parking lot where the track is being stored. So for anyone that might have any bright ideas of taking pictures standing next to the track, you might want to reconsider.

That's it. I'm setting aside money for a trip to Florida next summer. That is one awesome looking coaster. Ditto what everyone else said about the supports being part of the theming...why hasn't anyone else thought to do that?

Yeah, I mimic the other sentiments about the supports. They look very picturesque. It gives the illusion that the framework is built using bamboo. Me likey! I can't wait to get out there next October.
