Midgetman82 Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 ^Oh wow, I never thought I would see an Intamin coaster in Busch Gardens like this. I can't wait till' I'm back in BG next year again!
alpengeist04 Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Thanks for the pictures/update. I really do like the look of the first turn. Heck, even the supports look cool. I think once this is completed it'll look a whole heck of a lot better than the videos.
krazekiddd Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I love that the supports are part of the theme. It looks beautiful.
paiging_jen Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 (edited) Cheetah Hunt Roller Coaster Construction Update - December 5th, 2010 - Busch Gardens Tampa I took a quick trip over to BGT this morning to check out the construction and get some shots. It's progressing quite nicely. Definitely looking good! Edited December 7, 2010 by robbalvey
The_Mad_Hatter Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Amazing pictures! Can't believe they're already onto the Figure Eight Element. I love the supports--the angles are very neat.
coasterfreak101 Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 This whole area is just going to look astonishing. This ride might not be the greatest the world's ever seen, but hot daaarn it's going to be beautiful! I love the support work, and how a lot of them are extended as part of the theme. And that dive into the first trench looks quite fun!
mr. cockblock Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 That green Intamin box track is very sexy.
Swimace Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Wow, this looks really cool, I love what they're doing with the supports! Can't wait to see the finished product!
let1gre Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I love what they did on those supports on the turn there - it looks great, even though it's just a few feet more of extension. Cannot wait to see this finished. Great pictures! Thanks!
SFMM fanboy Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Awsome to see that CH is vertical. Can't wait to ride this next summer.
Skycoastin Steve Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Beautiful pictures of a beautiful ride taken by a beautiful lady.
BaMiTsPaT Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I love the supports on that banked turn! They really make it look awesome. I can't wait to see the rest of the ride completed.
Spideyfreak Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Could somebody map out where they are staging the track? I can't seem to figure it out on areal views. Thanks.

Gigalyte Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 So what were looking at so far is the launch out of the station into that turn that will dive down into that trench for the second launch into that figure 8 section? Anyways thanks for the pics, love those supports and that turn intamin track is just so beautiful IMO
Skycoastin Steve Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 For the record, paiging_jen did tell me that there are now No Trespassing signs all over the perimeter fence to the parking lot where the track is being stored. So for anyone that might have any bright ideas of taking pictures standing next to the track, you might want to reconsider.
Myself Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 That's it. I'm setting aside money for a trip to Florida next summer. That is one awesome looking coaster. Ditto what everyone else said about the supports being part of the theming...why hasn't anyone else thought to do that?
PKI Jizzman Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 Ditto what everyone else said about the supports being part of the theming...why hasn't anyone else thought to do that? Ask Disney about California Screamin'. But yeah, the supports look fantastic on this ride!
The SETGO Guys Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I thought that the supports were part of the theming...

Guy T. Koepp Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Yeah, I mimic the other sentiments about the supports. They look very picturesque. It gives the illusion that the framework is built using bamboo. Me likey! I can't wait to get out there next October.
