shepp
Hmm... Â Sir Ian McKellen poured me champagne. (Long story, great guy.) Once roomed with Jackson Browne. Met Talking Heads, the Kinks, Elvis Costello. Penn and Teller. Held the door for Danny Glover. In my stage door days, got autographs from Sammy Davis, Jr., Barbra Streisand, Angela Lansbury, on and on... Met Anjelica Huston, Margaret Cho, Andy Warhol. The guy who played Xander on Buffy. Actually kinda know/knew John Lasseter of Pixar. Met Nick Park (Wallace & Gromit). Everybody in San Francisco has seen Robin Williams at least once - I passed him going into the men's room, but my partner saw him naked in the lockerroom of his gym. Â I'm sure there's more... haiderodes
This past Friday night we were at the grand opening of LAX - the nightclub at Luxor. Of course we saw Ms. Britney Spears...and I have to say her face is messed up. It just doesnt seem right. She doesn't take care of herself like she should. Â She was there making out with Criss Angel...that's right the mindfreak is a freak! We also saw Floyd Mayweather Jr., Josh Henderson, and Dave Navarro, but apparently there were even more than we saw. The club was packed!
christianscoasters
When we were in CA, we saw Flava Flav. Security wouldn't let him wear his metal clock so he had this little plastic one! He was very nice. There wasn't many people, but if you asked him he would sign autographs and take pictures. Â We were driving through Hollywood and the BET awards were on in a couple of days. There was a lot of people in suits gathered around but they were bunched together so we couldn't recognize anyone. Â And lastly, again, driving through Hollwood, there was a woman singing, I'm guessing early-mid 20's and some people were gathered around plus tons of cameras. But we couldn't see the singer! Edward
Well, nowadays (started about 2 years ago) I meet some famous people once a year. Aka, every Sci-Fi convension sometime in spring. Lets see... Â 2005: Robert Englund and Kenny Baker. There was also Sala Baker and Jeremy Bulloch, but didn't really talk to them much. Â 2006: Ray Park, Craig Parker, and Richard Kiel, though he was a little rude. There was also Elijah Wood, but I couldn't get near him. Â 2007: Billy Boyd and Verne Troyer. There was also Dave Prowse and Robert Knepper, but kinda forgot about them. Â I would like to meet Jason Carter, or anyone else from Babylon5 (apart from Robert Englund), but I don't know if they'll ever come here.
