atem122
^I just read through the thread, and there were a few, but for the most part it was positive. It's just odd since this is basically the same situation (i.e. a larger version of essentially the same ride), but the reaction has been so much different. hydra
So what are the odds the cobra rolls will face each other? I bet they are good.
PAL
^^Holiday World is making a bigger, brand new record breaker that will add needed capacity, in essence doubling or more the most popular ride in the park: plussing a plus. In SFNE's case, they're complementing a plain Jane shuttle with a fussy, low capacity and slow-operating used GIB. The situations are very different. 805Andrew
You East Coasters can have our GIB as long as we get something better in DejaVu's spot. But we sure in hell don't want your old Boomerang. If SFMM got SFNE 's old Boomerang and put it in the same spot where DejaVu was that would be a new LOW
BaMiTsPaT
If SFNE is getting a GIB (which I guess is a fairly reasonable thing to assume at this point), I do hope they repaint it before sticking it right in the middle of Crack-axle Canyon! I really don't want to see all brown western buildings and then a neon green GIB sitting there to greet me, but I know Six Flags Inc. has a mind of its own. deathbydinn
This was just posted to SFNE Online's Facebook. So Deja Vu was approved. Everything in front of Shipwreck Falls, the baseketball game, the soccer game, ect will be moved somewhere else in the park. One of the buildings will be repurposed as the entrance. Moose
So I guess this is happening. I cannot picture this area wit a gib. Hopefully they don't mess up te only part of the park that is still somewhat themed.
deathbydinn
^ I'd imagine it'll look similar to this. Link I just hope they'd give it a new color scheme, kinda sticks out with the rest of the area being more orange-ish. Moose
Or rotated 180 degrees I agree a new color would be nice, but hopefully not matchy matchy.
coasterfreak101
Oh wow - I don't realize when people were talking about dueling boomerangs, they meant that the cobra rolls were about ready to run into each other!
Gigalyte
Imo its look great like that, just need to be fresher with a repaint.
robbalvey
Ok, this is officially dumber than a park getting two B&M hyper coasters. (Yes, I know one is a giga - shut up) Edited August 19, 2011 by robbalvey
Skycoastin Steve
I really hope SFNE is getting rid of the regular boomerang soon, cause that's just hilarious.

atem122
Is 2012 the year of building slightly larger versions of existing rides?
XYZ
Now the only thing SFNE needs is an Invertigo.

John Knotts
I really hope SFNE is getting rid of the regular boomerang soon, cause that's just hilarious. Actually, it makes a very bizarre kind of sense. lol They can guarantee that at least one of them will be open.
BaMiTsPaT
^I don't even think that they can guarantee THAT! If the ride is installed as shown in that picture above, Flashback will become the laughingstock of the park. Please get rid of your standard boomerang with the edition of a GIANT INVERTED boomerang. Send it to SFGAdv!
jzoole
I just caught wind of a new rumor. Apparently Six Flags New England has bought the former Moonsault Scramble ride from Fuji-Q Highland and will be tearing down the Cyclone to make room for this new first-of-its-kind-in-New-England shuttle roller coaster in 2012.
