IronWolfman Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I like how this El Loco's ending is slightly separate from the rest of the ride, makes it more unique.
Randomman295 Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Is that a Trick Track I see? Haven't seen one of those since Thunder Dolphin. Also I love how bizarre of a layout this thing has. Looks like it covers much more ground than the standard El Loco model. Are any trains on site yet?
Mr Stratosphere Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I like to look at it as an Outward Banked Trick Track lol!
Double0Kevin Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 It's more of an overly exaggerated outwardbanked turn with hardly any turn. I think it will be awesome and add som thrill with the illusion it's banking into a wall. Are any trains on site yet? Two cars are on site.
cal1br3tto Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 That does look fun. I always thought trick track sounded like a neat idea, but it doesn't seem all that popular in reality.
rolercstrluvr Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Fingers crossed that it can pull of the awkward banking/trick track element.
simaticable Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 El Loco is looking pretty sweet! I can't wait to see how this coaster turns out.
arby Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 This layout is awesome! Thanks for all the updates, John.
Mr Stratosphere Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Here is a photo of one of the cars now on site, yesterday there were two cars here. I'm assuming one is inside now. I will try and stop by later today.
chickenbowl Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I really hope this thing can open up before my Winter Break ends, I'd love to go check it out. I'm not sure what to expect overall, but the combination of the custom layout, possible airtime, TWO twisting dives, and NO OTSR's gets me pretty excited! Plus I still need the kiddie credit at the park, lol.
Mr Stratosphere Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Plus I still need the kiddie credit at the park, lol. You won't get the kiddie credit, on Miner Mike, unless you are under 58 inches. All aboard for a runaway coal train ride destined for a happy place! You must be between 33 and 58 inches tall to ride Miner Mike. They are very strict about this height requirement.

Mr Stratosphere Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Here's the other car under wraps inside the park.
thrillseeker4552 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Can't wait for this to open! My family heads up to Utah for the Winter every year over New Years & early January, and we drive right through Vegas every time; I REALLY hope this is open by then! Looks like quite the ride.
fatdaddy Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Forgive me if it's already been posted, but what's the height requirement on this. Being a good parent, means getting your children credits.
MayTheGForceBeWithYou Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 ^I remember seeing 48", but I'm not entirely positive. EDIT: Yeah, 48".
Nrthwnd Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 ^ In reading this... Why is Canyon Blaster listed in two different lists, with different prices? One is for $10. The other is a 'Premium' for $8.
fatdaddy Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 ^^48" would be perfect. Thanks for the info.
beatle11 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 ^^Good eye. Someone screwed that one up. Maybe they should hire you as their replacement. Nice to see the El Loco coming along well.
kidcoaster 2 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I am liking the layout more and more! Vegas needs to happen soon!
rolercstrluvr Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 The trains are going to look really nice zipping and twisting around in the dome. I cannot wait to ride this.
Garet Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 ^ In reading this... Why is Canyon Blaster listed in two different lists, with different prices? One is for $10. The other is a 'Premium' for $8. I asked this a few pages back and some-one replied it may have been an oversight and been copied from an old pricing list.
screaminkid2005 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 This ride looks wicked awesome! I can't wait to head over to Vegas after it opens. Thanks for the update!
Robocoaster Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Truly awesome updates; thanks! As soon as they announce the first day it is open to the public, I'm calling out sick.
