KnottsDisneyFarm Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 I went to Medieval Times as an end-of-the-year field trip today...the fighting was REALLY fake looking... . I did get to skip about 4 periods though, so It's all good.
themeparkman25 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 It's Back!!! Here is the fall schedule... Issues in American Thought Medieval Societies Native American Religious Traditions Appreciation of Music Intermediate Microeconomics (calc based) Intermediate Macroeconomics (calc based) Core classes slash gen eds SUCK! Should be a good year though and I should be able to pull of good grades. I am also an RA (resident adviser) in the dorms on campus and that looks well on a resume and then I will be working IAAPA ambassadors in November! Very excited about both of those. It is official though, I am double majoring in Business/Finance as well as Economics. Should set me up well in the amusement industry, especially if I get the MBA like planned.
Sasquatch Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I just quit my old college because it sucked ass! WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!
socalMAN123 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 ^ That is most defenitely a good reason to leave a school ---Brent
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 V WHOOPS! I accidentally posted in the wrong thread. Meant to post in the Happiness Pie Thread. Sorry. I'm going back to school on the 8th. I'm glad my school is going later than others (I've heard of schools already in session for about 2 weeks). And I've also heard of schools starting at 7:15 in my area. I'm lucky that I can wait 'till 8:40.
KnottsDisneyFarm Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 ^ May I ask why this is in the school thread?
sfkk339 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 My school started on the 12th..... My 1st two semesters look like this.... 1st-World Civ 2nd-Student Technology Help Desk 3rd-Web Page Design 1 4th-Web Page Design 1 5th-Geometry 6th-Band My 3rd and 4th semesters are tough with all the core classes. FeelTheFORCE Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Just came back to my dorm today after a week off (spring break). It's nice because I get out super early this year, the first week of May is my finals week, but that means no more days off between now and then...8 straight weeks of school. It's going to start dragging a bit after about the 5th week or so, haha. Man, summer can't come soon enough, it's been way too long since I've been on a coaster. I can't wait for it to be May so I can read this post, and think to myself, "I remember writing that, man that time went fast!" I remember writing that, man that time went fast! I don't want to go back. Oh well, at least I have a really nice schedule. Looking forward to May of 2010 when I can look back on this post and ask myself where that time went.
socalMAN123 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 One last day of freedom before I have to go back to the prison that is Tustin High School. Wish I could hit a park, but instead I settle for the beach. Darned school! ---Brent
Cyber.Fiber Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Is it only me, or does I seem as if July goes by incredibly slowly while August is over as soon as it begins... I go back to school on the 8th. I only went to my home park (Canada's Wonderland) 3 times this year. I am kind of disappointed about that, seeing as how I went over 30 times last season... If the calender is accurate, my mom plans on going 2 more times though before school, So I can hope... *Note to Self* Buy school supplies this week!
Stoksy Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 *moan, moan, moan*actually doesn't mind going to school*moan, moan, moan* I started high school, year 8 now, and our teachers are really good, BUT, I hate some of their excuses for giving us a lot of assignments. It alledgedly helps us to "manage our time", fat chance.
Kennyweird Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Today was the first day of school for me. My schedule was so screwed up it wasn't even funny. Among other things, it had me scheduled for Trig/Precalculus, a course I took last year and aced.
christianscoasters Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 And I've also heard of schools starting at 7:15 in my area. I'm lucky that I can wait 'till 8:40. My school starts at 7:15. My dad who lives in Colorado, there's a private school near him that starts at 6:45. Holy crap!!! My bus comes at 6:30. KnottsDisneyFarm Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 ^Why didn't you get on-campus housing?
Manny In England Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 ^ We only really have that at our universities, which are pretty different to our colleges.
KnottsDisneyFarm Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I have to write my book report...it's due on the first day of school which is Thursday. Yeah, I'm a procrastinator.
onewheeled999 Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 I have all my easy classes right now, which is ok, but that means I'll be working like crazy the second half of the year. Theater, Animation, Health and English? Now. Algebra 2, Honors Bio, Spanish 1, and PE? Later.
