ginzo
^If I was injured due to a ride malfunction and had medical bills/lost wages, I'd sue the park as well. Whether it was a freak accident or not, I would not care. It's the park's job to not mangle riders. No excuses.

fdelhomez
Hi everyone, Â We are about to visit Holiday Park, and I have little question : Does anyone knows how to get our Expedition GeForce ride recorded? And also how much the DVD cost?
Ledgy
The park doesn´t offer an option to by an onride footage from your ride, until now.  For an really good Footage in the RAW, buy this: "Rollercoaster in the RAW DVD - Vol.4" or the download Version   Should get a credit for this commercial Robb
fdelhomez
Allready bought all rollercoasters in the raw, thanks this fast answer I just was asking because I saw on Youtube & Dailymotion some people have their rides on DVD?!
Team Thriller
Just got back from Holiday park yesterday. Two things that need to be noted: Â 1.) The new coaster (Which I took some pictures of for the index, which I'll upload sometime.) is great for the family, but horrible for people over 3 or 4 feet. The ride slams you around like crazy to the point where it is painful. Mornings rides were okay, but as the day went on, it got worse and worse. Â 2.) Ge Force is my new number one again. This ride was hauling major a$$. The trims seems off, and the new trains were perfect. I have NEVER, in my 6 years of riding it, have gotten so much airtime on it before. Â Overall it was a pretty good day. Â --James

Ledgy
I´m not belgian, but would also fit in the car, I guess - it depends on the time you´ll drive?  I´m looking forward to ride this monster again and don´t want to wait anymore, planed to do it with a friend and work collegue, but we won´t have so many same off days, so that is a problem. Dragon Khan
^^ I suggest we do BOTH lol. And since we're at mid way, why don't we drive further down to Italy ?

I have NEVER, in my 6 years of riding it, have gotten so much airtime on it before. Â I'll agree with this. Mid course trims were not only off, but removed. Trims before last turn into brake run bunny hops were still on. I rode 12 times, and have bruises on my thighs today. Insane airtime, INSANE

atem122
American park: Ride has a wheel assembly f**k up, they close it down for months and add safety systems (like trims) to kill the ride so that it's safer. European park: Ride has a wheel assembly f**k up, they rehab it and decide to make it more intense than it was before. I'm so moving to Germany once I'm out of college. GeorgeT
This is soooo good and important news...! Â I mean this is TPR`s number one steel coaster in the world...it HAS to run insanely good to proove that the people from this community know EXACTLY what they`re talking about saying that this is the best steelie on the planet ! texcoaster
I'll agree with this. Mid course trims were not only off, but removed. Trims before last turn into brake run bunny hops were still on. I rode 12 times, and have bruises on my thighs today. Insane airtime, INSANE Â When I rode it several years ago, there was only one trim and it was on a shallow downward run before the turn that leads into the insane bunny hop with the change of direction at the top. That trim was used pretty lightly... if you were in the front half of the train, you couldn't really feel it much. Â Were other trims added more recently, and those got removed, or was the trim I remember the one that was removed and it's now running full-tilt all the way through the bunnies? I got sick, sick, SICK airtime on those bunnies and the direction-change hill right after the trim was even more intense than the first drop. I can't imagine doing it faster. Â That's it. Going to Germany next year.
Team Thriller
^ The trim before the change of direction seemed off! The only trim were you could feel something was the last before the final bunny hops leading to the brake run, and it was on VERY low. Â If you think the airtime was intense before, I swear that now it will seem completely INSANE! The airtime can almost cause bruises on your hips. Imagine taking the ride what feels like 1 and a half to two times faster. Â --James
Hhappy
Here's a quick update (and some pictures) from my visit today to the park.  I noticed the weather being good for today and wanted to see for myself how good Geforce was running after reading some of the stories. The park is only open during the weekend.. so the ride should only have had today to warm up..  anyway  Expedition Geforce was running as good as i remember it running during the last TPR visit in 08 (and maybe even a bit better) Plenty of air, the first drop was amazing (as usual) and it did not slow down. The brakes before the final turn and bunny hops was hardly noticeable. Only if you payed a lot of attention to it you could feel it (in the back of the train)  I only rode it in the back so i'm not sure how much the experience for the other seats has improved.  From a previous visit i remember the ride having a lot of shaking/rattling.. basically that's all gone (just a tiny little bit left, but that's an amount which is normal for this kind of ride (i think)) What else.. ehm the turn around before heading back through the supports of the first hill? i've experienced that as being slow (in the past) almost so slow that you could feel yourself sliding down... anyway.. no more sliding and some nice speed through there. Extra benefit.. you feel like you're going to hit some supports again (due to the air)  All in all, the ride is back and it's running very very good at the moment. If you have time, go check it out. i spy.. i spy.. airtime.. i think shiny seats restraints area got some paint as well.. and it looks like some paddings have been replaced.. lots of new shiny (paint and/or parts) and the front looked very fresh as well.. nerd time going up.. a different way to experience the first drop.. bunny hops before the final brakes... lot of hair the infamous "OMG this ride is insane" pose another train and a different angle.. are there any words needed?? i don't remember this being that long... brakes... they have added some buildings in this area.. but the brakes are still at the same place something's missing here the other spot.. and just for the fun of it.. a first drop picture.. and one more Hairtime happy riders

Dragon Khan
If someone comes close to riding a coaster, it's either a TPR DVD or Hanno pictures of those rides. Can't believe I haven't driven there yet. It's basically a small 5 hour away. Anyone who wants to come along ?
CorkscrewFoley
I'm glad to see EGF is running at full force. I haven't had the chance to ride it, but I'm sure my expectations of it would surpass 'we were trimmed? Couldn't even tell...'
