When I was little, Jack Rabbit at Kennywood always scared the crap out of me, but at the same time I loved it. That little tiny leather strap that wouldn't tighten made me nervous that I would fly out during the double dip.

Every ride at my annual county fair. A kid fell out of the wacky worm last year. Only my school district gets the day off of school for the opening of the fair, so I always go to the Kemah Boardwalk (everyone else goes to the fair) since all of the Houston Schools and Galveston and Clear Lake ISD schools are in session. Everything is a walk-on!

This ride at Fisherman's Warf in China was a bit dicey looking, too.
.

I swear this park was trying to kill one of us.

The looping toboggan, the double dispatch mouse, shooting arrows towards us, and trying to sell a partially drunk bottle of soda.

I have never set foot on a Ring of Fire carnival ride since I was about 5. It's a hazy memory now, but the restraints were definitely too loose for me and I was slipping out.

Only a few rides, so here they are..

i remember riding iron rattler, and i think the full ride was safe, however the bar was about 2-3 cm of my knee, and not touching my chest, the overall ride felt safe, but the last turn felt like i was about to be flung out the side, the airtime was great there, but if my lap-bar was 1 more cm up, i would of been flung out!

Anoter ride is the fabbri top spin/space loop.. ive not ridden these YET but i dont know if i will like it, the bars seem high of your knees and it hangs you upside down for a while...

ocean beach pleasure park is my closest fairground, and they have a pinafari/fabbri coaster, it has overhead bars but they are no use, they dont lock unless you hold them down and if you push it down it comes up.. the ride has only 1 part what can effect, only if ur in the front though, it has a break, and if u dont expect it, you will slip under the bar, everyone slides down on that part, but if u dont hold on you will be very scared!

The last 1 is the space loop rides my MS, my bar moved a little out, and it was at the top of the lift, the normal feeling is falling out, but as it un-clicked, i was so scared! I laughed at the end cos i was scared so much

One time on Iron Wolf the emergency buckle came undone... needless to say I did not enjoy the ride even more than usual Another time..... let's just say that the guy next to me couldn't hold his fluids any longer Gross.

Actually, one I remember vividly (2006), is that G Force at Drayton Manor.

The eventual upside down lift hill, caused me to actually start slipping out of

the "Lap bar" that was the only thing holding us (at that time) in.

I had a fricken panic attack in just two seconds. Thankfully the lift completed,

and the coaster went on it's wierd little freaky way.

Didn't ride it when we returned in 2010. Didn't want to. And I heard others

have the same reaction as I did. So, nothing lost.

G Force. And the lift hill in question.

Cedar Point's ghetto go-karts. I thought the thing was going to explode.

And ANY type of roller coaster at a fair.

I'm not sure if the go karts at Mt. Olympus even count as a ride, but if they do, I definitely feel that they are death traps.

Other than that, I feel 100% safer on any rides than I do driving to a park.

Well, there was the time I rode Cyclops on the TPR Midwest trip. I sat down in the right side of the last car (can't remember if it was front row or back of car 5) and somehow, when the ride was over, I was seated in the left side of the same row.

About that...

While I didn't really feel unsafe, I was on the Rebel Yell opening Sunday and the seatbelt was stretched out and wouldn't "retrack" so it was loose the whole time. It felt more sketchy than unsafe. Thankfully there's lapbars!

One time I went on this "Aladdin-style" rotating carpet at a fair. While at the top, I realised that screws holding various parts together were loose, I tried screwing these back as well as I could. This was maybe 7 years ago and that was the last time I went to a fair.

Recently: Chuanlord's spinner. That thing clearly did not get any maintenance since the day it opened. The upstop wheels have nearly 2 inches gap between them and the track. Before my car went up the lift, the chain pulled the car real hard that the car jumped up and had a very painful landing on the lift hill. Then the chain did not catch the car properly, the car hit into the anti-roll back abruptly then the chain caught the car again. Now I think I understood what an airplane crash feels like.

Cyclops is also a coaster that I feel unsafe. The buzz bar+Mt.Olympus combination is already scary enough, cyclops also has three very intense drops.

Hades360. The way that the park fix the Timberliners, the park started our ERT without any testing, the lap bar did not lock properly before the train dispatched. Not to mention my physical and mental safety were taking a huge risk during the ride.

The skycoaster in Kissimmee. While the ride was totally safe and skycoasters have an impeccable safety record this ride still made us feel like we were going to die. It was awesome.

Fair rides. I swear they don't even check your restraints. And I'm not sure what the ride was called, but the restraints didn't lock until the ride was almost in full cycle.

I've even noticed this on some S&S towers. The restraints don't lock until you're just about ready to launch... Kinda sketchy.

Theres a ride similar to a Six Flags SkyScreamer at the Wiener Prater...that thing terrified me. Being held by flimsy chains so high up in a country that I presumed had much less safety standards than the sue-happy US made me pretty uneasy. Im sure it was fine though lol

I am not sure which fairs you go to but I have always been checked in Maryland.

Mine would be Sky Screamers/Windseekers and anything where its just a harness holding you in like a sky coaster, sky scraper, sling shot.

LIKE OMG! THE INTIMINADER HAD NO SEATBELTS! U only ride in a seat with a lap thingy, and it jiggles the whole time. I WAS SCREAMING LIKE OMG WTF AAAHHH I WANT MY MOMMY the whole ride. I peed my pants and I had to buy some $14 swim trunks to wear THE WHOLE DAY! I'm never going on that ride again, Carowins is dangerous.

In all seriousness, I felt unsafe riding Nighthawk. Yes, I know that you have the vest on, but it feels very light on me, and whenever it turns around, I feel like it's coming off. I know I sound like a GP. I felt safer in the B&M flyer down at SFOG.

Not even sure what I just read but my IQ dropped about 90%

As much as I believe that coaster restraints are safe, the Vekoma flyers always make me nervous since the first time you put any weight on the restraint is when you're already a hundred feet in the air.
