Any chance the strippers can make a stop at Dorney?

 

I'm sure a couple of the older more used strippers will stop at Dorney after spending a good amount of time at another park first.

Down here at SFNE all we get are sh***y BMX bikers and wannabe Jacob Sartoriuses... why does CP get all the fun

Well VF is getting bikers. I'm not sure if that's the short end of the stick or what. Maybe CP's biker's are leaving for VF to make way for...?

 

I know what some of you would want to go into VF's new amphitheater, though.

Looks like there's a bunch of activity at the park today getting ready for the new season. Putting cars back on Witches Wheel and testing Windseeker.

 

Love watching the park come back to life.

Right there with ya. Not a very thrilling attraction, but the views are amazing. If you look to your right the entire ride cycle it can be downright majestic.

For some reason, it's actually kind fun trying to catch a Valravn train test when you only get to see the tiniest snippet of the ride.

I caught Raptor testing though.

Yeah, I think Valravn is only running 1 train based on the interval between each cycle. Trains are moving at Raptor again after block testing (probably intentional, but there was a guy walking around checking sensors on the safety brakes for a bit there).

 

In other news, I continue to be a giant nerd.

I wonder if it's just maintenance running cycles or if they've handed it over to the ops to start comissioning (Raptor, I'm guessing Valravn isn't quite there yet. Correct me if I'm wrong).

Based on the fact people are walking around the track of Raptor while it runs, I'm guessing commissioning. Hard to say though. When Gatekeeper was running 3 train tests the other day, they were pumping them out very fast. Then, suddenly the next day there was a longer delay making me wonder if they were training ops now.

...Cedar Point is actually planting trees around Valravn. . . It's not going to be just a "grassy field" under the coaster.

 

It'd be nice, if it ended up looking by what they're showing in the concept art over at the CP site...

CF's bikers are leaving? That show was incredible! It was like America's Got Talent but way better.
