BigDipper 80
I wish that tree weren't in the way though as it blocks the view of both PT & TTD. The only problem with that is that if that tree were to be removed, Cedar Point would effectively lose one-half of its total foliage.

SkyBreak95
has anyone been to the point lately? If so i'd like to know the average wait time for rides like Raptor,Magnum, Maverick and TTD on a "moderate" Wednesday. I'm planning on going Wed. June 13. Gigalyte
Saw this on Facebook and I can't wait to see if this is in fact the real layout to CP 2013 Wingrider. I'm really loving the twist and dive off the lift right into the immelman and the double Zero g rolls
TXman308
If it truly is that design that I'm 100% satisfied. Maybe I'll have to take a TPR trip to Cedar Point next year. Question: Are those two zero-g rolls back to back, or a roll and then a overbank?
coasterfreak101
^Looks like a dive loop, immelmann, corkscrew/rollover, overbank/stengel-ish dive, overbank, long zero-g, airtime hill, helix, zero-g. I do wonder if it's real or someone made it off their interpretation of the overhead the Register posted, but I guess we'll see!
Geauga Dog
Am I the only one who is not particularly thrilled with the idea of having this span across the midway and main entrance? If this is indeed the "actual layout" of the ride I had hoped that it would have had more of a compact/twister layout in its design since they are using up a chunk of the parking lot behind the public picnic area, thus giving them ample room to do more with the space being provided. Tmcdllr
Strange that something like this would be "leaked" out so soon which makes it more of just a wild rumor.
krakenmaniac
Where on Facebook did you find the layout?
giga2kcoaster
My question about the proposed location passing over the main midway is, would it affect Ocean Motion, since they just moved it?
kidcoaster 2
Thats not the official layout, someone with some mutual friends did that to show what he hopes the ride will be like.
giga2kcoaster
Even with the speculation from the Sandusky Register, if you think about it Ocean Motion is very close to the park entrance as well as the picnic area. I'm all for a new coaster, but not such a big fan of the speculated front gate coaster.
KDCOASTERFAN
Thats not the official layout, someone with some mutual friends did that to show what he hopes the ride will be like. I agree as CP wouldn't leak this kind of information just yet. There's no evidence that a pretzel loop would be part of the layout for this type of design. simaticable
I thought it was a Norwegian Loop.
99er
That is in fact just an idea of what a friend of mine thinks it is going to look like. He was just messing around in NoLimits, it is nothing that was leaked from the park.
Gigalyte
Ummmmmm Did I ever once say that the pic was leaked from CP in any way, No I did not!!! , I said I saw it on facebook and couldn't wait to see if it was real. Since it does look a lot like the layout pictured in the news paper article I don't see why it's so absurd to think this could be close to what the real ride might end up looking like. simaticable
I realized why I love digital voice editing for singers.
kidcoaster 2
The vocals just ruin it for me, hopefully they switch to just playing the normal songs and just having the performers dance. The "after party" looks pretty sweet though. Edited June 10, 2012 by kidcoaster
VinTheAttendant
I have to admit, the stage looks really nice. The show...I think Cedar Point can go for better.
99er
The vocals just ruin it for me, hopefully they switch to just playing the normal songs and just having the performers dance. It's funny because so far the reviews I have read from people who have actually been there compliment the singers. Personally, I agree with those reviews from what I have seen so far too. Ummmmmm Did I ever once say that the pic was leaked from CP in any way, No I did not!!! Did anyone say you did? My comment was just a general comment because others asked/mentioned if it was leaked. Thus the reason why you were not quoted in my post. So calm down there fellow, it's not all about you.
IronWolfman
Anyone else see this? http://www.cedarpoint.com/blog-article/online-fun/Mean-Streak-is-less-Mean Now, if the can keep this as smooth as it is, they can remove the trims!
FeelTheFORCE
I thought it was the same rough and boring ride as last year when I rode it on opening day. I wish they would stop dumping money into this bottomless pit for temporary fixes and come up with a long-term solution already.
simaticable
Maybe they could invest in the Rocky Mountain treatment.
