Anyone else find it interesting that the challenge park has no hours listed yet on the website?

Could it be a sign it will be demolished for 2017 expansion?

Doubtful, pretty sure its open the same hours as the park.

WOW!!! That may be one of the most far fetched ideas to come up in this thread.

Parks (including Cedar Point) are still coming up with the hours, and cost for some items like Fast Lane, VIP Tours, (and even) Challenge Park... Just because they are not listed on the site yet does not mean that it's getting demolished. It just means they have not finished finalizing things yet.

^Actually... I don't think it will be in 2017 but I wouldn't be surprised if it was by 2020.

This is super nerdy but if you guys want to check this out coaster-net makes some pretty fun youtube videos in their "uncut" series and their last video talks about Cedar Point through 2020 with speculation about their master plan. Challenge Park coming out is in that by 2020.

Valleyfair removed their Challenge park two years ago, removing the go karts and the minigolf. Ripcord is still an up charge attraction, and the old snack stand is now an unofficial break area/mainly storage. I could easily see a path right when you get through the Soak City entrance that would keep Ripcord open but also open up space for some flat rides possibly.

Agreed, or maybe a small coaster that could interact with Magnum. Another possibility would be to use some/all of that space to enlarge Soak City. But I'm hoping for a coaster.

Maybe they will buy the rights from Six Flags and install a Looping Dragons clone.

So a new coaster is barely halfway constructed, let alone open to ride, and people are already attempting to speculate on the next coaster without so much as a logical rumor. Can we all be grateful for once and stop looking to "the next one" before we've even tried the current one? I swear, some CP fans are too much for me, and I'm starting to understand why many CF fans are slightly disgruntled about CP getting another coaster when their fans won't even appreciate it.

No, no we can't... There's a blizzard going on and we have nothing better to do than day dream...

Nah. The option to fantasize about a new, awesome attraction is way more satisfying than accepting the reality of another B&M gentle giant.

^ Have you ridden a dive machine? They're nice, don't get me wrong, but there's nothing intense about them.
