On June 11th, Tom Scott posted a video on his second YouTube channel of him getting over his phobia of coasters at Alton Towers. -
Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread

Why is it that I don't feel any pain or discomfort on those Zamperla flying coasters? I've ridden both Time Warp at CW and Soaring Eagle at Luna Park NYC and enjoyed them both. -

Also, not everyone can afford to travel the country to ride specific kinds of roller coasters. -

I rode Joker at Six Flags Great Adventure once, and that was one too many times for me. I go on rides to have fun, not to be scared out of my wits. I didn't find it uncomfortable, though. I just found it to be too unpredictable. -

I know it's an unpopular opinion in these parts, but I actually like Twister more than Phoenix. Phoenix has amazing airtime, but it just doesn't have the speed and laterals that Twister has. -

Whenever you go to Knoebels, plan for it to be an all-day thing. There's actually a lot to do and enjoy at the park, even if you just sit down on a bench and people-watch. -
Kennywood (KW) Discussion Thread
njcoasterguy34 replied to DenDen's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I went to Kennywood a few years ago by myself and did not know the rule about single riders on Thunderbolt. Fortunately, there was another single rider in line so I didn't have to wait too long. -

I also hang out at parks by myself quite often. I'm quite introverted, so don't have a huge amount of friends, and not many of my friends are into amusement parks like I am. -

I hope those plastic dividers are just temporary until this stupid pandemic is over.
