LawlessBagel Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 1. Batman: The Chiller's top hat. It just did some really messed up (in a good way) things that the Mr. Freezes (while still good) don't do. Hopefully the ride will get rebuilt some day. 2. Batman & Robin: The Chiller's heartland/zero g roll was also really messed up in good way. 3. Most B&M zero g rolls. 4. Plain old vertical loops (especially ones back to back).
PhantomNick Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 ^ THIS. Easily my favorite part of Storm Runner. Also, I'm a huge fan of zero-G rolls. Specifically, the one by Premier that can be found on Sky Rocket at Kennywood.....holy hangtime, Batman!!
rcjp Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Stormrunner's Flying Snake Dive Definitely. I also like big B&M loops, zero-g-rolls (either the floater ones or the really fast ones) and corkscrews on their inverts.
jynx242 Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Schwartzkopf loops (Mindbender....mmmmmmmm) and the B&M zero gee roll, especially on Kumba due to the speed at which it takes it.
Coastin Eric Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 My favorite inversion that I've experienced would probably be the barrel rolls on Volcano. Those never get old and they're so fun. Other than that I would say Zero G rolls in general. They Always feel awesome
ajfelice Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 If pretzel loops count, they have my vote. If not, nothing beats a really good zero-g roll. I really couldn't tell you what makes them so great except for the fact they just feel good. My favorite zero-g roll actually comes on a somewhat mediocre coaster overall for me, Kennywood's Sky Rocket.

Just an unsure brain-fart moment on my part.
GnastyGnoric7 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 For me, I'd say I like both the Norwegian Loop and Zero G Roll.
yay101 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 My favorite inversions are the zero-g rolls on Raptor, Alpengeist, and Batman-the Ride, the corkscrews on Dominator, and the two vertical loops of Kings Island's Vortex.
Randomman295 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Just to name a few: Tatsu's Pretzel Roll Superman Krypton Coaster's absolutely stupid huge loop Silver Bullet's almost inversion overbank (does this count?)
GoBears Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 As much as I dislike the ride, SUF's pretzel loop in the back row usually packs a punch and then the ride is back to being a snooze fest. The Incredible Hulk's roll out of the launch is a lot of fun. The hang time on X-Flight's roll through the control tower is fun too.
Projektion Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 I personally prefer the good old vertical loop just because it's the only type of inversion that gives that perfect hang time at the top where you get the strangest upside down feeling (seeing the whole world upside down while still having some positive G's which fools your body/brain into thinking you are still standing/sitting the right way up).

Not only that but I just love the look of a vertical loop, especially the tear drop shaped loops on Arrows. My other favorite inversions are the Zero G, Cobra Roll, Batwing, Immelman/Diving loop, and the Pretzel Loop.
coastercoaster5 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Full throttle's loop. SOOOO much hang time up their. And at night, its an awesome view.
coasterbill Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Now that I've finally had the opportunity to ride Kumba I have to go with that crazy zero G roll.
Moose Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I still love zero g rolls. How are the new inversions on Rocky Mountain's Goliath, are they anyone's new favorite?
awclark Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Zero-g-Rolls found on the older B&M's. So the ones on Kumba, Hulk, Bizarro, Scream!, Dragon Kahn, Medusa etc. Those ones just had more of a thrilling spiraling whip to them whereas the zero-g's found on the newer B&M's simply lack that thrill.
X2coasterfreak Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 My favorite inversion on any coaster has to be the second immelmann on Dragon Challenge's Chinese Fireball side. It is so fast and snappy, not to mention pretty forceful, I absolutely love it!
K1ngdaKa88 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 My favourite coaster Inversion is the heartline roll! I like it if you go thru slow and fast because when you go thru it slow you have some nice hang time and if you go thru it fast then you get pulled out of the seat!!
CJStephens15 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 (edited) The Flying Snake Dive on Storm Runner takes the cake here. Honorable mention to S:UF's pretzel loop and Gatekeeper's wing-over drop. Edited October 17, 2014 by CJStephens15
viking86 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I have to say that the pretzel loop on Manta in the backseat has taken the spot for my favorite inversion of all time. The feeling of being pulled through the first half of the loop is unlike anything I have ever experienced before. Honorable mentions to go the second immelmann on Dragon Challenge; Chinese Fireball as mentioned by X2coasterfreak a couple of posts above, and the zero-g roll on Kumba.
thatguyclint Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I absolutely love both of the rolls on Banshee; the dive into the valley and the slllloooowwww twist right before the final helix.
HAZE Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Any Inversion that you don't normally see Is a favourite of mine, even if it is somewhat painful. Among them include: Scorpion Tail: http://rcdb.com/12192.htm Pretzel Knot: http://rcdb.com/8897.htm Roll Out: http://rcdb.com/8896.htm Demonic Knot: http://rcdb.com/12033.htm Saxophone: http://rcdb.com/8915.htm Flying Snake Dive: http://rcdb.com/8912.htm Diving Turn: http://rcdb.com/8903.htm We need coasters with inversions that look like this: http://cache.rcdb.com/fs72ie323lo00d31hfstf4.jpg Or this: http://cache.rcdb.com/56l018qcbv7bp4m878da00.jpg And lest we forget this: http://cache.rcdb.com/3tn38mcbv7bp48ik068m00.jpg
