Airtime&Gravity
The worst line I ever waited in was for B:TR last August I believe. Now, anyone from Chicago will tell you that the weather is brutal in that time of year, and it was another one of those days. The queue was at its average length(ending in the queue house not far from the garden), but the weather is what made the wait so miserable. It was incredibly humid, and it was just really uncomfortable in line. The station was an even worse place to be. The humidity remained, but the floor was soaking wet with a slight fog.(not part of the theming)
dammie16@vt.edu
Longest wait - 2 hrs for MF front row end of the night, but I got to ride with just me and my cousin rather then getting shoved to another car, which they do after the park closes for those who don't know, because he saw my VT hat and was like, "HEY I went to VT just wait there you an ride in front!" So that was awesome.  Worst wait - any rapids ride ever  /off topic/  Funniest wait - a women got line jumped by one of those, "I just went to the bathroom my friend is right there" people. To make a long yet funny story short, she argued with guards about getting to get right on the ride because of her tragic line jumping experience for so long that she ended up going after me and my family when she was like at least 4 rafts in front of us. I LOL'd for so long.  P.S. That was my only good rapids ride line experience lol.
lexmarkland100
1 hour and 30 minutes. But I didn't mind because it was for Furius Baco and the que was indoors.
Vffreak07
Longest: MF at CP for about one and a half hours. Worst: Well like the worst in shape I've been in was probably either Rajin Caujin or whatever at SFGAM or Wildcat at CP. My worst experience in a line was TTD left side at night. Took me about a half hour to get to the front because everyone was cutting and it was like a mosh pit in there.
Cedar Point Princess
An hour and 45 minutes for Maverick on a Tuesday. I had rode it before so I knew it was worth the wait. Shortest wait for Maverick was 30 minutes. We ran to the back of the park as soon as it opened.
Nrthwnd
2-1/2 hours at Dodopna  then  3 hours at Eejanika (Japanese X)  Both at Fuji-Q Highland park, during the TPR Japan'07 Tour.  So, over 5 hours for two credits.  Done. Finally. And never again unless I'm paid to do it.  (Or it's ERT, lol.)
rcdude
The worst line I have waited in was for X in 2003. We got in line about 15 minutes after opening (we had to get a locker first) and it was already a two hour wait. At about 1, the ride broke down and everyone else was about three trains from getting on. I decided to wait off with my sister (back then I was afraid of breakdowns and my sister didn't want to ride anyway). At about 1:30 the ride re-opened and everyone else rode. Â The worst line for a roller coaster I actually rode was for Ghostrider during Veteran's Day 2000. I waited over two hours to ride, but it was worth it. coastercrazed49
I waited in an 1 hour, 30 minute long line for Superman Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England. (Definitely worth the wait)
Jcoaster
Kingda Ka in its opening year. I waited 2 1/2 hours of hell. In the scorching heat.
coasterfreaksrttd
I waited thee hours for Kingda Ka when it first opened. Part of that wait was because the coaster was having problems and didn't actually run for about forty five minutes
BlackHole2005
2 Hours for collosus at thorpe park is not good. It seems that even though it's been there since 2000 it still gets long queues, even on the less busier days! I went there on a school trip and we went on monday so you would expect the park to be empty, all the other rides had amazing queues but collosuses was about 2 hours long! Plus it had to be shut down loads of times due to rain. Â Cheers, BlackHole2006
rollerboy
Stealth at Thorpe Park, 1 and a half hours. The line seemed to go slower because I was so nervous (first launched coaster ).
Bolliger&Mabillard
Maverick in its innagural season-5 hour wait....but there were only about 35 people ahead of me. It lives up to the Intamin name. Â X in it's innagural year. The line started by Panda Express with 1 (yes, count it ONE) train. I'm too embarassed to say how long I waited. Â Medusa West, a week ago-slower than molasses on a cold day crew basically made me wait an hour for Scream.

Shellemonster
RESURRECTION! Â of this thread that is. It's always good to vent some frustration! Â 2.5 hours for Dudley Do Right Ripsaw Falls as they insultingly peddled pricey bottled water next to the warm water fountains and had insufficient A/C inside so it was very warm and stuffy. atem122
I avoid large lines because I hate them with a fiery burning passion, but I have seen Scream's line extend beyond the queue which is a biiiiiiig no no
CreditCrazy
Big Foot Rapids at Knott's last June, it was 2 hours and filled the whole queue, and it was frustrating seeing EMPTY boats/boats with only 2 people in them going by. Â There was also Rattlesnake Rapids at Lagoon last July, with a line that filled the whole queue (which looked very long) and the whole area...I did not wait in it, thinking it was at least 3+ hours. Anyone here ridden it? Is it worth it?
Josh Linn
I've been lucky over the years. I'd say my longest is either Dragster in '03 or Hulk in '06, and neither was longer than an hour and a half.
sfmmrules!
X2 my first time ever going on it-I never went on the original X. I was there last July 31st 2008 & got there too late-30 min after opening & the line was 2 1/2 hours. What is the key to get on X2 w/no line? Do you have to be at the gates before they open then run as fast as you can?
atem122
You arrive at sfmm early, book it over there, then head to the back of the park, that's the way to succeed, oh and I've heard that x2's line gets shorter around 4:30-5:
Wild 1
1 hour for Fehrenheit on June 1st of this year! It would have not been so bad if the line had some shade and was not just concrete and chains, oh it was 90 degrees out also.
Satchboogie3
I'm not sure if this technically qualifies as a "line", but I waited over 8 hours to ride Top Thrill Dragster in 2003. It was my second day at the park and I REALLY didn't want to miss out on the ride, so I sat in a small "line" along it's fence waiting/hoping for the ride to open. I got in the "line" when the park opened and the ride finally opened around 6:30. Â As crazy as it was, I probably don't regret it at all. Just minutes after I got my ride in... the thing went down again. I don't think I'll wait that long for anything again, though.
andre8
The Rattler for the first time. It was like, 45 minutes.
mayberry21
The first summer Millennium Force was open, I remember when the line queue was totally full and extending out of the entrance. We waited...it must have been at least 2 hours; I'm sure it was more. I wasn't keeping track at the time. It was worth it though. I've waited pretty long for Kingda Ka too. Â I don't like long lines at all now, I have no patience for them lol.
