I like the screeching of V2's launch at SFDK. It's hard to tell if it's the people or the ride that's making screaming noises.

While I think the backwards launch sounds like an idea made by an adrenaline-filled 9-year-old, this ride does sound pretty fun.The top hat looks like it'll give us good airtime, and it has a flying snake dive (which I didn't notice until I came onto here). Hopefully I'll be able to ride it next year!

During our weekly speeches, our topic was what we did over spring break. Girl in class: I went to Great America (CGA) and rode Vortex. Me: *thinks* okay, keep talking ... Girl in class: And it went like 120 MILES PER HOUR! Me: *tries not to strangle her* I understand that GP don't know the facts about roller coasters, and may say some things wrong, but 120 mph is a huge exaggeration, and it really annoyed me.

I have a love-hate relationship with the triple jump event in track and field.

Do you believe that there should be age limits on rides? I'm kind of tied between yes and no, as if you have a tall 6 year old, he/she might not be mature enough to understand how to be safe on a roller coaster. I also think no, because I also kind of think height is the only thing that matters when riding a roller coaster.

I have been to SFMM 3 times, and Knott's twice. I've been hearing that Xcelerator is a very thrilling roller coaster, but also Tatsu sounds pretty promising. ETA: I like both flats and roller coasters.

I will be heading to SoCal in April, and I still can't decide whether I should visit SFMM or Knott's. Which one should I go to, in terms of rides and crowds? Thanks!

I like the arch supports on Arrow coasters, they look both modern and slightly retro.

^ I think the background should remain a solid color. The gradient doesn't seem to look as well as solid black.

I like Afterburners and Frisbees, but not pirate ships.
