thomas2 Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 New beautiful photos! I can't wait for the mini Europe trip source: themepark.nl
piers Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 This really does look set to be amazing. The first drop looks like so much fun! I am really excited now about mini-Europe!!
Evan1127 Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Awesome photos. I love seeing the bent for the station in the air like that.
verticalzero Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 This could be the best looking wooden coaster in the world. 2 Links to Troy's photo's from Toverland's Website: http://www.troytoverland.nl/nl/fotos_archief.php http://www.troytoverland.nl/nl/fotos_bouwplaats.php
kennywood!007 Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 Wow, GCI does an amazing job once again! This coaster looks awesome, I can't wait to see a POV.
sfne2005 Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 This to me by far will be the biggest let down if it doesn't open for the TPR trip in July
Airtime&Gravity Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Wow, Troy looks absolutely amazing, and the first drops looks like one of the best on a wooden coaster. GCI has amazed me wither their newest coasters, and Troy looks to be the best one yet.
kraken613 Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 It would be an accomplishment if it surpassed Thunderhead. By the looks of it I think it will or be pretty close! The thing Thunderhead has is the setting and the terrain.
CP_RULES Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Wow, this thing is GIANT! I can't wait to see the theming.
lorddoonga Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Congrats .... your country has a Winner . Really really nice pics.
coasterdude5 Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 This looks great. GCI is turning out to be the nearly-perfect coaster company.
krouvi Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I am sorry but it looks like it wont be ready to be open in July. The coaster is not ready yet and they have to run many many tests before the public can enjoy it. The only chance is that maybe the test runs will be 100% good.
Jogumpie Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I am sorry but it looks like it wont be ready to be open in July. The coaster is not ready yet and they have to run many many tests before the public can enjoy it. The only chance is that maybe the test runs will be 100% good. Opening weekend is June 30th - July 1st. And according to an employee, they are working faster than ever before.
Gav- Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 This coaster really looks great, I'm going to Toverland coming summer and I can't wait going on this ride
peteb Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 GCI's have got to be the most beautifully constructed coasters out there without a doubt. And they ride as smooth as they look. Absolutely first rate work.
thomas2 Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I don't know if this has been posted here but here are some photo's from Troy's trains! http://greatcoastersinterns.com/photos.php
Golfie Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Geez, that beast looks like it'll EAT me! GCI's look so slick.
dorus Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 yes, yes ,yes! @lmost done! i only live about 40 mins. driving away from Toverland... maybe this year i will ride troy, btw , the theming looks fantastic, with that gates up front, just... WOW good purchase for Toverland! really! only the trains look fake!!! damn , they need to theme the cars better... anyway ^^ [/u]
Captain Jack Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Awesome looking coaster ...disappointing looking train paintjob.
sfne2005 Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 ^Would you have rathered them be a flat single color? They look kickasz just like the whole coaster!
Guest Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 looks good enough for me to ride it but i cant because of my back i got the rods and screws in it and it only been 2 yrs since my operation ,man i wish i could ride it , maybe when you all get the POV of it i will have a happy time ,i love the sharp curves and angles .when is it going to be finished and whens the POV going to be done i cant wait,
Guest Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 i had a fussion and decompression on my back 2 yrs ago.
Captain Jack Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 ^Would you have rathered them be a flat single color? They look kickasz just like the whole coaster!-sfne2005 I wasn't thinking a flat color, but not a cartoony painted wood finish. A pearlescent finish in a crimson red or a deep purple kind of Apollo's Chariot like would've looked great.
