  1. Opening weekend is June 30th - July 1st. And according to an employee, they are working faster than ever before.
  2. Layout-wise it may be very good. But I would've spent more time on it, the track contains a lot of bumps and there is a spot where the track hits the ground.
  3. My coastercount is at 40 at the moment. Not much, but at the end of the year it'll be at 85. I am sure my top-10 will have changed by then. I used to have a top-5 myself, so I had to make up the other 5 in a few minutes. 1. Expedition GeForce (Holiday Park) 2. Black Mamba (Phantasialand) 3. Goliath (Walibi World) 4. Tonnerre de Zeus (Parc Astérix) 5. Loup-Garou (Walibi Belgium) 6. Robin Hood (Walibi World) 7. Winja’s Fear (Phantasialand) 8. Winja’s Force (Phantasialand) 9. Trace du Hourra (Parc Astérix) 10. Vogel Rok (Efteling)
  4. After a lot of trouble I got this thing working! With four coaches... four coaches. I couldn't resist to make a video, although it's dark! Video! The drop looks weird from some angles, I know, but I don't have any more space for a completely curved drop. I have modified it a little bit though. I have also seen the loop is still a bit flat in the pictures. I have changed it a bit, it's looking much better now.
  5. I just finished the track on the first drop, I still need to support it though. I am in the middle of my final exams, so I'm not sure when I will post an update. They go berzerk very easily on these forums, lol. EDIT: Lucky bastards, you just got an update!
  6. Oh my! I forgot to post updates! Again... At the top of the launch is a zero-g roll. Almost perfectly heartlined, because I used a special tool to build it. I haven't built the first drop yet, but I have almost finished the loop afterwards. It's 6 ft. 4 tall. I have to adjust the top a little bit, because I think it is too flat. Here are the pictures!
  7. Could someone re-upload this? It has just been aired in Holland and fans are desperate to download it somewhere. I have the video on my computer, but I can't upload due to lots of internet downtime. Thanks in advance.
  8. After building a hypercoaster, I decided I wanted something with inversions. An ordinary megalooper wasn't good enough though. It won't start with a simple lift though. Inspired by the Incredible Hulk, I have installed a launch track at a 45 degree angle. Just like on the Hulk, it will be followed up by a zero-g roll. This roll will be at a height of 8.5 feet, making it the tallest zero-g roll ever made. So far I have the lift/launch with supports. It isn't working yet, but I will work on that next week.
  9. Last update! After this, it's time to announce something about Sagittarius... Lowest point right after the first drop. Looks like the track will ascend here very much. This column needs lateral support. Much progress since last picture! Can you say overbanked turn?? Lovely little support hanging in mid-air... What's that?.. Track!! We're almost there... That's nice! Must be a heavy load. Going down again. Last piece of track! Yes! You can do this, Mr. Crane! It fits. Speed o' Fear's track has been completed. The tubing has been placed and the first train is being put on the track. And here goes the second train. Thanks for showing your interest in Speed o' Fear. It has been taken apart completely right now and the time has come for Sagittarius.
  10. Time for another update! Nearly finished this time. They just keep on adding these large supports. Here comes the first drop!! We're almost out of supports... More track! Looks like that piece is going to be installed right before the brake run. I guess this one is for a highly banked turn. Here comes another piece of track. And another support column. Not much track anymore. And this piece will complete the highly banked turn. And that's it for now! Next update will be the last one!!
  11. 100 times Python (Efteling)... I got permission to fill up single empty seats, that way I didn't have to wait 1 hour for every ride.
  12. Time for another update! I am behind schedule... The ride needs some paths... Paths to entrance and exit have been placed. That crane is pretty tall... Another lateral support. Bückel time! The hill is nearly finished. There are still quite some supports to be placed. That's a steep batter brace. There are gonna be a lot of G's over there. Sexy track! The bückel is about to be finished. They started working on the first drop! And that's it for now! Next update will include the construction of the first drop.
  13. Read the first 'reality' update. You'll see this is the original Speed o' Fear. This time there will be more track, more curved track. And it will be closer to the ground. To get rid of some confusion: on the pictures you're seeing he construction of Speed o' Fear, not an enhanced version. The track is in place. Another support. Is it going to fit? Here comes the station roof! Cool! The tracks are going to cross over. Two new support columns. Hmmm... a hill section? I can see banked turn in the back! Definately a hill! And that is probably........ And that's it for today! Be sure to check out tomorrow's pictures; including ... I won't tell you.
