^^I think he was talking about that fact that it is rotating instead of sliding to the side or turning slightly like tatsu's does, for instance.

^If that is what he asking, then yes, those exist - the Vekoma Flying Dutchmen use the flip track instead of the normal sliding version, as does Expedition Everest!

^Yea I remember seeing this video which briefly discusses 1 of the track switches on EE. Gerstlauer's will most likely operate with the same counter weight system to make the transition smooth.

My son would love this ride. Trains and firefighters are his two biggest interests. The themeing looks incredible as any Dollywood creation would.

So the switch track will not be exactly like Vekoma's after all as it's not "balanced" while on, let's say, firehawk, the two bits of track are back to back. Anyway, I guess this is not entirely relevant to the ride itself which is looking pretty nice.

Don't know if anyone has seen these yet, but there are some great new photos of the construction up on the official site...this looks like another perfect addition to the park and a great family coaster!

It looks like such a mess of track and other crap right now but I have no doubt this thing is going to fit into the park perfectly and look amazing on opening day. I can't wait to ride it.

That looks really good. I think that pretty much every park could use a coaster like this in their attractions roster.

It certainly takes up a large plot of land for a ride with such a small drop. Reminds me of Orange Streak and Jaguar.

What's the latest on the DreamMore Resort? Has construction started? I can't remember seeing any pictures here if so. The website only shows land clearing site prep photos from November...

As we were driving into the park when I went for Christmas, they were clearing land for the project. I saw lots of construction vehicles at the site, but that was about it.

Well...sort of. Here's Fire In The Hole's panel...its layout is basically the same as Blazing Fury. The station area is on the right. I think FITH at one point had a different layout - you can see where they adjusted the layout on the panel. I think Blazing Fury's layout has remained the same.

^ Both really good reports, but it really bugged me when the reporter at the end of the second video said "its the first roller coaster to go both forwards, and backwards as well". Research honey, research!
