QuakerOaties Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Looking at those pictures is making it reallly hard to force myself to go to school today. Â Mark "I miss it!" Luskus
Hattuchili Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 WOW, the "RE-CAP UPDATE" is awesome! It is great to see a few pictures from your trip in a nice overview! I am really looking forward to see the updates on your front page!  --Sören
CoasterJunkie Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Awesome..looking forward to the big update... Â So how much Mcdonalds did you eat over there?
twistedmickey Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 The last pic of Elissa back in LA is classic. Maybe you should send that picture to the people in charge of tourism for California.
Nrthwnd Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Excellent re-cap of the trip, altho... Â "...it was only a car-wash dream..." Â Who says ya can't dream in color AND coasters, huh??? Â
Angry_Gumball Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 This recap update thingy kinda reminded me of SMB2's ending: And it was only a dream...
robbalvey Posted January 12, 2006 Author Posted January 12, 2006 ^ LOL! Yeah, I was pretty tired when I did that update last night. Not sure if it was obvious or not! Â --Robb
Lord Turbine Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 ^^Awesome. Â seemyLA? See this: Â *loves new emoticons* Â Anyway... good update. Looking forward to the old-fashioned front-pagers. Â Now that you're back, here's hoping we get more construction photos! Â "Hey, Robb, you may want to get back out to Wild Rivers this summer, rumors are that they're closing it down soon..."
socalMAN123 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 ^ Sorry, but those rumors about Wild Rivers, are totally fake. Â Great recap of the update! To bad you had to come back here to sucky Socal! ---Brent
dandaman Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Robb: Wow, Elissa! You really bumped your head when you slipped on that fry at McDonald's! Â Elissa: Oh, I had the most wonderful dream! There were coasters in the snow, and you were there, and *points to the Quaker* you were there! Â Mark: How much morphine did they give her, anyway? Â
coasterfreak101 Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Well that's a pretty easy comment to give I have enjoyed every update of this trip, the captions are what I love the most, though I cannot wait for the step by step big updates! Oh, the gas attendant told me to tell you guys that you all owe the station an extra $200 for holding up the line for a few hours  BTW I LOVE THE SMILIES!!!!! I like this one, cause there's no small castle to ruin it LOL:
aslinterpreter Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I know that the jet lag sucks bad!!!!!! Did you 2 find it worse coming back home than it was going? Everytime we go to asia it always seems that the jet lag is worse coming back east.
nasai Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 I find it's easy to go to Japan, but hurts like hell returning to Seattle. Going there, you just stay up as long as you can stand, then sleep a full hours until the next morning. Â Boom. Done. Â On the return, you get 2 nights, or 2 days depending on when you leave, and it just hurts sooooooooooo bad.
Lord Turbine Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 ^ Sorry, but those rumors about Wild Rivers, are totally fake.  THANK YOU LORD! Dude! You just made my day!  You perhaps know anything about what's replacing Liquidator?
SharkTums Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Yeah it seems like it's always harder when you are travelling East.
Guest Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Strange how that is, isn't it? After flying to Europe, I can't stay awake for anything that first day, yet after a what, a 12 hour flight to Japan, I'm as excited and energized as ever!
Jose Eber Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Great update: Â Per flying...meh, heading to Europe its hard coming home too .
MSLSM Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 Once again, another great update where the Alveys babysit little Quaker. Â Did you get any photos of that one half pipe, or was there not enough time?
TonyaGaddy Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 hahaha. I love the ending...so commercial.
