TyRush Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 If you take a closer look at those supports of the airtime hill...I guess that you can see, that one side of that upcoming "monster" loop will be connected to it Yes I agree! The last picture
_koppen Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 That support is standing on it's own, it's not connected to the hill.
rcjp Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Wow that's quite a bit of work done. This ride almost seemed to come out of nowhere and it looks awesome.
BDG Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Feel-good story of the day: Irish tourist takes Dubai cabbie for Ferrari World joyride They call it the luck of the Irish, and it appears, Liam Murphy’s cup runneth over as the man from Cork spread some good cheer when he cut a ticket for his taxi driver on a joyride to Ferrari World. The kind-hearted test engineer, who was in Dubai on a business trip, decided to invite his driver on a whim to join him in the Yas Island theme park when he learned the Indian national had never been inside the park despite making countless trips to drop off customers at its gates over the years. Gutterflower Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Launched shuttle coaster. This ones looking good too. Source
TheoB Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Looks like another awesome Intamin. Appears to have elements from all the big name Intamin coasters from what I see. Please come back to the United States You think the U.S. has an Intamin drought, at least you have good Intamins. In the UK we don't even have a decent hyper,, (though we do have Nemesis) but every good Intamin also wrecks that
rcjp Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 That airtime hill looks like it might give some serious air!
Nickstroberg Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Looks like I need to start planning my trip
Koasterking48 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Looks fantastic. Hopefully one day I can make it out to this park!
TyRush Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 This potentially could make it up to one of my most anticipated coasters. (Taron and Lightning Rod)
bf9 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 So does anyone know what kind of trains it'll have? I don't recall it ever being announced, but if this is a wing coaster I'd probably have to say this coaster looks like it's going to be nuts. Intamin is going to strike back next year it seems!

I'm just guessing here. But I bet it is just going to be the typical two across with 2 rows per car kind of train... Like Maverick, i305, Kingda Ka... ect. Most likely themed to a Ferrari. I could be wrong. But I don't think we will being seeing the winged trains on this coaster.
thomas2 Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I seem to have missed this, but when will the new rides open to the public? Was it 2016 or 2017?

I actually remember now reading some rumor about 1-1.5 year ago saying Intamin would build a large wing-coaster in the middle east. So it's not entirely impossible that it will get Skyrush trains, even though I think it's unlikely.
Nickstroberg Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I'm voting Skyrush styled trains, the shaping of the elements seems very consistent with Skyrush's, not to mention the whole "Flying Aces" theme is totally congruent with wing styled seating. Just baseless guesses though
